Abstract Holding learners' attention is challenging, especially when they are asked to listen long passages. High‐immersion virtual reality (VR) can immerse learners in listening tasks, even such complex languages as Chinese. This exploratory study examined the effect of VR on 43 Chinese language comprehension, enjoyment, sense presence, and cognitive load. Participants were self‐selected into two groups without knowing purpose or details their activity. The experimental group ( n 1 = 23) experienced an interactive multimedia story VR, comparison 2 20) watched a screencast video recording same story. Multivariate analysis covariance (MANCOVA) indicated that may have positive development skills. Abstract This study examines the factors influencing science teachers’ intentions to adopt gamified virtual reality (VR) in educational settings, employing Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and Protection Motivation (PMT) as theoretical frameworks. We investigate how perceived threats, benefits, motivational cognitive impact these intentions, focusing on teachers. By integrating TPB PMT, aims provide a comprehensive model that elucidates roles attitude, subjective norm, severity, vulnerability, self-efficacy, response efficacy, costs decision VR. The structural analysis conducted sample 1645 teachers revealed our amalgamated demonstrates robust predictive capacity for their outperformed traditional theories predicting adoption intentions. research also significant relationships between intention use VR, with differences noted across teacher groups by professional status gender. enhanced understanding barriers facilitators informs strategies better integration VR education, potentially enriching teaching practices improving student engagement learning outcomes.

Abstract Background The increasing extent and severity of wildfires in the western USA poses a significant challenge to managers society. Forest thinning prescribed fire treatments reduce hazard improve resilience climatic stressors. However, expanding pace scale forest management is hampered, part, by limited understanding exposure interested parties public fuel reduction treatments. Virtual tour applications provide an opportunity extend tours treatment demonstration areas anyone with computer internet connection. Yet there little research on effectiveness virtual for enhancing if would deploy increase awareness. Here we describe development evaluation ( https://chorophronesis.geog.psu.edu/virtualexperiences/StanislausWebsite/indexSummer2022.html ) using surveys three occupational groups: managers, university students, non-student non-managers. Results improved self-reported how fires historically shaped forests, fuels changed absence fire, affects wildfire hazard, can be modified enhance biodiversity. was also effective at conveying differences between non-treatment among treatments, all groups. This chapter examines the ways in which digital tools like virtual reality (VR) and gamification are changing how young children learn languages. In early childhood education, especially language development, it highlights growing significance of pedagogy. While creates immersive learning environments that make acquisition more contextual dynamic turns lessons into enjoyable interactive games motivates kids encourages deeper engagement. As cognitive social emotional advantages play addresses theoretical underpinnings use these technologies. It also offers case studies real-world illustrations have been effectively incorporated education settings. There is discussion issues teacher preparation accessibility along with solutions to common problems.

The impact of technology, initiated during the fourth industrial revolution with concepts like AI, AR, and VR, has significantly influenced education. Integrating Augmented Reality (AR) in education enhances student engagement learning. AR enables students to visualize complex theories through real actions, making learning interactive fun. This paper explores experiences Assemblr Studio, a 3D visualization tool, hybrid at Christ University, Bangalore. study examines Studio's educational impact, user experience, classroom effectiveness using questionnaires focus group discussions. Results show that via Studio fosters innovative effective learning, positively altering traditional strategies.
