Research on parental burnout has focused more its antecedents than consequences. Burned-out parents may experience a series of behavioral changes, negatively affecting their children’s physical and mental development. This study examined the effects primary caregivers’ adolescents’ development mediating role negative parenting styles. used time-lagged design, data were collected at three different time points. Mothers’ parental burnout and adolescents’ social adaptation and security: the mediating role of parenting style

Abstract Parents may develop burnout when they chronically lack the resources to handle parenting stressors. Although relationship between parental and child-related variables has been explored, its impact on adolescents’ development remains unknown. This study investigates effect of mothers’ social adaptation security in adolescents, mediating roles styles. Questionnaires were distributed adolescents their mothers at three time points with an interval six weeks. In first survey, 916 completed a assessment. second, 1054 maternal rejection autonomy support scales, Harsh Parenting third, 1053 Children Adolescent Social Adaptation Security Questionnaires. total, 411 paired data matched (mothers’ age: M = 42.1, SD 4.65; 13.1, 0.52). The Mechanisms of Parental Burnout Affecting Adolescents’ Problem Behavior

Parental burnout refers to the feelings of extreme exhaustion that many parents experience due parenting. Although parental has received considerable interest from researchers, effects and mechanisms on adolescents’ physical psychological development remain largely unknown. This study investigated relationship between problem behaviors in Chinese families. We explored mediating roles family function, aggression, adolescent self-control, as well moderating role co-parenting. Questionnaires were distributed 600 adolescents their primary caregivers, data collected three different occasions. In total, 174 paired participants completed survey (44.9% boys; Mean-age = 14.18 years). Bootstrapping results showed was positively associated with behavior. addition, self-control mediated Co-parenting moderated function aggression. The result structural equation modeling (SEM) generally supported above results. These findings reveal negative behavior, providing empirical evidence can be applied prevent burnout.

The roles of parent temperament and parenting styles in adolescent temperament development

Abstract This study examined temperament development from early to middle adolescence and the roles of parenting styles parent in this development. The sample consisted 842 adolescents ( n = Grade 6; 54% girls) their parents N 707). Adolescents assessed Grades 6 9 when were 6. results showed that adolescent affiliativeness increased effortful control decreased adolescence. Analisis Komparasi Pola Pengasuhan Anak di Indonesia dan Finlandia

Kajian tentang pola pengasuhan orang tua terhadap anak merupakan isu yang sangat penting untuk diangkat kembali, karena kesalahan dalam mengasuh akan berakibat fatal perkembangan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi di Indonesia dan Finlandia serta mengkomparasikan bentuk diantara kedua negera tersebut. Metode digunakan penelitian adalah kajian Systematic Literature Review dimulai dari proses pencarian literatur, scrining uji kelayakan. Hasil menemukan adanya perbedaan Finlandia. Diantaranya; (1) Ditemukan tiga yaitu, otoritatif, otoriter permisif, sedangkan ditemukan enam anak, yaitu mengendalikan dengan psikologis, tidak terlibat, pengendalian, (2) Finlandia, baik segi pelaksanaan faktor-faktor mempengaruhinya. Mengkomparasikan kebaruan ini. Temuan diharapkan dapat menjadi perhatian bagi tua, khususnya agar memilih asuh tepat rangka mendukung tumbuh kembang itu sendiri.

Abstrak: Keterbatasan informasi tentang pola asuh menjadi faktor orang tua kurang memahami dalam mendampingi tumbuh kembang anak. Hal ini di dukung dengan terbatasnya akses internet dan jalan menuju sekolah mitra yang berada daerah pegunungan. Tujuan pengabdian adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pemahaman terhadap pendampingan baik fisik psikis anak pegunungan Trenggalek. Metode digunakan mengukur pemahman mengadakan sosialisasi bersama dasar negeri 2 Sengon kecamatan Bendungan Kabupaten Trenggalek 3 tahapan yaitu (1) Persiapan; (2) pelaksanaan berupa sosialisasi, ceramah diskusi; (3) Evaluasi. Hasil telah dicapai kegiatan program parenting education menunjukkan adanya peningkatan benar berdasarkan kajian teoritis praktis persentase 26%, sehingga ada pedesaan tidak dibatasi pada tradisional.Abstract: Limited information about is a factor that parents do not understand in assisting children's growth and development.
