Abstract Objective To identify the distinct profiles of work alienation among Chinese nurses, examine demographic factors associated with profile memberships, and then explore relationship between latent categories job embeddedness. Methods A cross-sectional survey 523 nurses was conducted from July to August 2023. Latent analysis (LPA) performed based on three aspects: powerlessness, helplessness, meaningfulness. multinomial logistic regression predictors membership. Hierarchical carried out association memberships Results Three subgroups were identified: 23.1%, 57.8%, 19.1% in low group (profile 1), moderate 3), high 2), respectively. The different significantly predicted embeddedness (Δ R 2 = 0.103, p < 0.001). Purpose This study examines why and when nurses' role ambiguity leads to their work alienation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Background.In 2021, 4,859 drug-related deaths were reported in England and Wales, the highest number since 1993, with opioids accounting for half of deaths.Acknowledging intersection COVID-19 pandemic opioid crisis, this qualitative study aimed to understand impact on people who use heroin (PWUH) by exploring their experiences health wellbeing, access addiction harm reduction support services, criminal justice system.Methods.In-person semi-structured interviews conducted four adult PWUHs accessing a residential service South London Borough.The data was analysed using reflexive thematic analysis.Results.Four themes developed capturing multifaceted experienced PWUH: Invisible through pandemic, Access services -Still long way go, Wellbeing under threat Crimes not drugs.Conclusions.The amplified existing systemic issues faced PWUH, reinforcing alienation, worsening well-being, hindering treatment impairing recovery, identified push factors toward harmful drug contact system.The illustrates imperative leaving no one behind public responses during times.

In the present research, we aimed to study relationship between work alienation and engagement mediating role of perceived social support. The current used data from 178 participants (48 men 130 women) aged 21 53 years (M=30.88, SD=9.00). Participants were invited complete following instruments: Work Alienation Scale (Nair & Vohra, 2009), Multidimensional Perceived Social Support (Zimet et al., 1988), Utrecht Engagement (Schaufeli Bakker, 2003). Findings indicate that correlate significantly negatively (r=-.755, p<.01). Similarly, also correlated with support (r=-.744, Also, has proven be an important mediator (z=-10.17, p<.01). Introduction. The education sector has been severely affected by the pandemic caused sudden outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), despite preventive measures taken and innovations brought to mitigate its effects. Purpose. This study investigated impact alienation experienced EFL teachers as a result obligatory social distancing that become new normal because COVID-19 pandemic. Further, it was determined whether gender, educational level, institution type, years experience in profession were among active determinants work alienation. Methods. A mixed-method approach adopted for this study. Quantitative data collected using Work Alienation scale, completed 160 working at public private schools Mersin, Turkey. Qualitative gathered from responses 18 within survey group. scale analysed, open-ended coded classified into three themes. Results. findings indicated low levels during pandemic, provided thought-provoking examples damage Although no significant differences identified based on found powerlessness, meaninglessness, isolation subscales, whereby with 1–5 endured higher level than those more experience.
