The purpose of the research was to study some indicators antioxidant and hormonal status in body ewes young sheep Romanov breed, as well identify correlations between studied indicators. experiment carried out physiological yard L.K. Ernst Federal Research Center for Animal Husbandry spring 2022 with stall housing, on 2 groups (30 days, n = 15 90 days after lambing, 14) 3 breed (aged 1, 15, 3, 14 4 months, 13). Indicators were determined blood. Mathematical statistical processing results using methods descriptive statistics, one-way analysis variance, correlation analysis. high level total blood months lambing (2.38 mmol/l) indicates successful adaptation oxidative stress LPO accumulation through use enzymatic non-enzymatic antioxidants. In lambs upon weaning, maximum TBA-AP is observed compared animals at one month age (3.49 versus 3.21 μM/l p≤0.05), which compensated by increasing ceruloplasmin catalase number. At an older age, shows adequate post-weaning stress, manifested a decrease 24.93 % (p≤0.05), increase concentration ceruloplasmin, peroxidase activity (by 28.47 p≤0.001 8.13 %, 1 respectively), TBA-AP/CP ratio. acquired knowledge about age-related changes LPO, AOD will be useful assessing health help provide timely preventive measures that adaptive capabilities sheep’s fullest realization genetic potential productivity.

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a chronic, relapsing gastrointestinal (GI) disorder characterized by intestinal inflammation. The etiology of IBD multifactorial and results from complex interplay between mucosal immunity, environmental factors, host genetics. Future therapeutics for GI disorders, including IBD, that are driven oxidative stress require greater understanding the cellular molecular mechanisms mediated reactive oxygen species (ROS). In tract, stressors include infections pro-inflammatory responses, which boost ROS generation promoting production cytokines. Nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) nuclear erythroid 2–related 2 (Nrf2) represent two important signaling pathways in immune cells regulate numerous physiological processes, anti-inflammatory antioxidant activities. Natural compounds exhibit scavenging increase defense capacity to inhibit pro-oxidative enzymes, may be useful treatment. this review, we discuss various polyphenolic substances (such as resveratrol, curcumin, quercetin, green tea flavonoids, caffeic acid phenethyl ester, luteolin, xanthohumol, genistein, alpinetin, proanthocyanidins, anthocyanins, silymarin), phenolic thymol, alkaloids such berberine, storage polysaccharides tamarind xyloglucan, other phytochemicals represented isothiocyanate sulforaphane food/spices ginger, flaxseed oil), well hormones like melatonin target reduce inflammation occurring with IBD.

Prostate cancer is the second most common in men worldwide. can be treated by surgery or active surveillance when early diagnosed but, at an advanced metastatic stage, radiation therapy androgen-deprivation needed to reduce progression. However, both of these therapies cause prostate resistance treatment. Several studies demonstrated that oxidative stress involved occurrence, development, progression and treatment resistance. The nuclear factor erythroid 2-related 2 (NRF2)/KEAP1 (Kelch-Like ECH-Associated Protein 1) pathway plays important role protecting cells against damage. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels NRF2 activation determine cell fate. In particular, toxic ROS lead physiological death tumor suppression, while lower are associated with carcinogenesis On contrary, a high level promotes survival related activating adaptive antioxidant response. this review, we analyzed current literature regarding natural synthetic compounds modulating NRF2/KEAP1 signaling cancer.

Sepsis is a potentially fatal condition characterized by organ dysfunction caused an imbalanced immune response to infection. Although increased inflammatory significantly contributes the pathogenesis of sepsis, several molecular mechanisms underlying progression sepsis are associated with cellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation and exhausted antioxidant pathways. This review article provides comprehensive overview involvement ROS in pathophysiology potential application antioxidants antimicrobial properties as adjunct primary therapies (fluid antibiotic therapies) against sepsis. delves into advantages disadvantages utilization therapeutic approach which has been explored variety animal models clinical trials. While suggested therapy suppress cases where intensified reaction occurs, use multiple agents can be beneficial they act additively or synergistically on different pathways, thereby enhancing defense. Furthermore, immunoadjuvant therapy, specifically septic patients displaying immunosuppressive tendencies, represents promising advancement therapy.

ABSTRACT The present study aimed to optimize a mouth‐dissolving film (MDF) made from Pongamia pinnata stem bark extract increase patient compliance and accelerate oral disease therapy. Several extracts were prepared, karanjin was used as an herbal marker for the extracts. ethanolic showed maximum yield (12.10% ± 0.09%) cytotoxic activity against human cancer (KB 3‐1) embryonic kidney cell lines. MDF formulation focused on incorporating fixed amount of varying concentrations HPMC E5 polymer, along with evaluating performance plasticizers like PEG 400 propylene glycol (PG). An optimized determined based disintegration time, wetting folding endurance. consisted film‐forming PG superior plasticizer, ascorbic acid antioxidant, other ingredients contributing solubility, dispersion, sweetening, appearance. High‐performance thin‐layer chromatography‐mass spectrometry analysis confirmed higher levels in formulation, ensuring its successful incorporation stability. Taste masking evaluations indicate favorable taste profile high potential compliance. stability displayed no significant changes physical characteristics film, affirming quality. In conclusion, developed herbal‐based presents promising drug delivery system, offering enhanced compliance, masking, holds great effective treatment management diseases, providing convenience improved therapeutic outcomes.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most deaths causing diseases worldwide. Several risk factors including hormones like insulin and growth (e.g., IGF-1) have been considered responsible for progression colon cancer. Though there a huge advancement in available screening as well treatment techniques CRC. There no significant decrease mortality patients. Moreover, current approaches CRC are associated with serious challenges drug resistance re-growth. Given severity disease, an urgent need novel therapeutic agents ideal characteristics. pieces evidence suggested that natural products, specifically medicinal plants, derived phytochemicals may serve potential sources discovery various On other hand, cells require high basal level reactive oxygen species (ROS) to maintain its own cellular functions. However, excess production intracellular ROS leads cell death via disturbing redox homeostasis. Therefore, plants phytocompounds can enhance induce apoptotic modulating molecular targets IGF-1 could be agents. Alkaloids form major class such phytoconstituents play key role prevention. several preclinical clinical studies also evidenced these compounds show potent anti-colon effects exhibit negligible toxicity towards normal cells. Hence, present evidence-based study aimed provide update on alkaloids reported ROS-mediated apoptosis targeting components factors, which metastasis, angiogenesis, proliferation, invasion. This provides individual account each alkaloid underwent trials either alone or combination drugs. In addition, classes different kinds cancers discussed.
