As of March 2020, the UK public were instructed to work from home where possible and as a result, nearly half those in employment did so during following month. Pre-pandemic, around 5% workers chose home; it was often seen advantageous, for example due eliminating commuting time increasing flexibility. Abstract Intrusive memories (IMs) after traumatic events can be distressing and disrupt mental health functioning. We evaluated the impact of a brief remotely-delivered digital imagery-competing task intervention on number IMs for intensive care unit (ICU) staff who faced repeated trauma exposure during COVID-19 pandemic using two-arm, parallel-group, single-blind randomised controlled trial, with comparator arm receiving delayed access to active treatment (crossover). Abstract Intensive care unit (ICU) staff continue to face recurrent work-related traumatic events throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Intrusive memories (IMs) of such comprise sensory image-based memories. Harnessing research on preventing IMs with a novel behavioural intervention day trauma, here we take critical next steps in developing this approach as treatment for ICU who are already experiencing days, weeks, or months post-trauma. To understand the experience of critical care nurses during COVID-19 pandemic, through application Job-Demand-Resource model occupational stress.Qualitative interview study.Twenty-eight (CCN) working in ICU UK NHS pandemic took part semi-structured interviews between May 2021 and 2022. Interviews were guided by constructs Job-Demand Resource model. Data analysed using framework analysis.The most difficult job demands pace amount, complexity, physical emotional effort their work. This study explored the associations between personality dimensions, burnout, and psychopathology in healthcare professionals intensive care units (ICUs). further aimed to discern differences these relationships when considering variables of critical experience (less than 5 years, 5–10 more 10 years), profession (nurses versus intensivists), urban size city where ICU is located (metropolitan cities smaller cities). cross-sectional investigation’s outcomes are based on data from 503 personnel, including 155 intensivists 348 nurses, 31 departments Greece. Participants underwent a comprehensive assessment involving sociodemographic questionnaire, Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ), Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), Symptom Checklist-90 (SCL-90). To analyze interplay among experience, burnout status, psychopathology, moderation analysis was conducted with dimensions (i.e., psychoticism, extraversion, neuroticism) serving as mediator variable. Abstract Introduction The experiences of UK Government response-focused employees, who were considered frontline workers during the coronavirus response, are missing from current literature. Meeting demands being on frontline, whilst also adjusting a normal and practiced way working to having work within one’s home, may bring plethora new barriers facilitators associated with providing an effective pandemic response. Method This interview study collected analysed data 30 Civil servants worked COVID-19 response their own homes. Interviews aimed to: (1) explore employee’s home contributing response; and, (2) establish what support guidance employees offered, they would recommend for future public health emergencies requiring homeworking. Results Seven themes extracted data: overall experience home; preparedness effort; life balance; relationships colleagues; space equipment; inclusivity. Findings suggested that pandemic, participants reported feeling strong sense purpose achievement But, was demanding, particularly those had rapidly, unexpectedly, transition office or lab working. A high frequency of mental issues has been reported amongst dental students in recent years. The aim this study was to explore the depression, stress, and anxiety undergraduate a developing country identify factors which may contribute poor health students. Background During the COVID-19 pandemic, 40 mental health and well-being hubs were funded in England to support social care staff affected by pandemic.
