Background: This research aimed to assess the effectiveness of virtual reality-based teaching (VRBT) in enhancing learning performance and engagement nursing students anatomy courses. Methods: A quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest design was conducted. Due limited number enrolled course, convenience sampling employed. Students were randomly assigned one two groups: (1) Traditional (TL) group (2) VRBT group. Academic achievement tests administered performance, while questionnaire on self-reported perceptions used evaluate student engagement. Data analyzed using t-tests covariance analysis. Results: The population comprised 62 fourth-year findings revealed that demonstrated significantly better compared those TL However, no significant difference observed between groups. Additionally, more likely report positive utilization VR technology classroom. Conclusions: provides valuable insights into how reality (VR) can improve outcomes for students. use education is strongly recommended.

Immersive Virtual Reality (iVR) is a new technology, the novelty effect of which can reduce enjoyment iVR experiences and, especially, learning achievements when presented in classroom; an that interactive tutorial proposed this research help overcome. Its increasingly complex levels are designed on basis Mayer’s Cognitive Theory Multimedia Learning, so users quickly gain familiarity with environment. The was included experience for its validation 65 users. It success, according to user satisfaction and usability survey. First, it gained very high ratings satisfaction, engagement, immersion. Second, skill rates suggested helped controllers. Finally, medium-high value flow pointed major concerns related challenges sort experience. A few cases cybersickness also arose. survey showed only intense significantly limited performance enjoyment; low had no influence immersion little skill, presence, greatly reducing benefits tutorial, despite remained useful.

Abstract With the development of digital technologies, use augmented reality in tourism sector has received increasing attention. However, understanding factors influencing tourists’ post-experience intention with devices is incomplete and there a lack empirical research. This study explores impact AR technical factors, individual situational on users’ usage destination revisit through satisfaction based socio-technical perspective. The survey data collected from 254 visitors who visited Liangzhu Museum using corresponding glasses were analysed, results showed that novelty aspect, technology trust aspect aesthetics, education authenticity influenced visitors’ satisfaction. an future research application to heritage museums.

Physical evacuation drills are pre-planned activities to train building occupants in facing emergencies and evaluate safety performances. Nowadays, technologies including Virtual Reality (VR) Immersive (IVR) shifting from the physical virtual paradigm. AR enables just extend real-world environment, while VR IVR allow (re)create manipulate digital environments. simulation systems have been observed guarantee higher involvement long-term information retention — leveraging more attractive experiences psychological arousal. However, efforts should be provided improve end-user training assessing occupants' behaviors effectiveness of emergency plan. This paper proposes a systematic literature review solutions. To support guide such effort, we formulated thirteen structured research questions investigating scenarios, recipients, requirements, objectives, methods, technologies. The results mainly show that almost entirely tackle single hazard, considers as sole system lack formalization. Among most relevant outcomes, analyzes need for enhancing modeling (e.g., signage, alarms), user inclusiveness (i.e., impaired individuals), devices, non-player characters, additional effects heat reproduction, sounds, smells). These measures can level realism experienced by simulators pave way reliable outcomes.

Introduction Interest in interactive virtual reality (IVR) is increasing due to its potential for embodied learning and group-led teaching. However, few studies have investigated the internal mechanism by which IVR technology features experiences affect outcomes terms of psychological emotional value. Based on media models control value theory achievement emotions (CVTAE), this study uses structural equation modeling (SEM) investigate correlations among elements features, experiences, outcomes. It also emphasizes role played experience context. Methods The sample referenced consisted 480 college students (193 males) who were simultaneously engaged guided inquiry an IVR-based COVID-19 pandemic science museum groups 10. Results findings suggest that presence perceived enjoyment a key mediating effect relationship between (VR) simulation. In addition, results indicate more strongly correlated with effects, while satisfaction. Discussion These provide intellectual support theoretical backing VR-based instructional design environmental development. Moreover, has practical regard future large-scale application experiential teaching, promotion digital transformation intelligence upgrading education.
