Diabetes is a worldwide public health disease. Currently, the most effective way to treat diabetes mitigate postprandial hyperglycemia by inhibiting carbohydrate hydrolysis enzymes in digestive system. Plant extract-based green synthesis of nanoparticles is an emerging class nanotechnology that has revolutionized the entire field biological sciences. Abstract Background As antibiotics and chemotherapeutics are no longer as efficient they once were, multidrug resistant (MDR) pathogens cancer presently considered two of the most dangerous threats to human life. In this study, Selenium nanoparticles (SeNPs) biosynthesized by Streptomyces parvulus MAR4, nano-chitosan (NCh), their nanoconjugate (Se/Ch-nanoconjugate) were suggested be efficacious antimicrobial anticancer agents. Results SeNPs MAR4 NCh successfully achieved conjugated. The spherical with a mean diameter 94.2 nm high stability. Yet, Se/Ch-nanoconjugate was semispherical 74.9 much higher SeNPs, NCh, showed significant activity against various microbial strong inhibitory effect on tested metabolic key enzymes [phosphoglucose isomerase (PGI), pyruvate dehydrogenase (PDH), glucose-6-phosphate (G6PDH) nitrate reductase (NR)]; powerful agent. Furthermore, revealed cytotoxicity HepG2 (IC 50 = 13.04 μg/ml) moderate toxicity Caki-1 (HTB-46) tumor cell lines 21.35 but low WI-38 normal line 85.69 μg/ml).
