This study investigates the intricate relationship between distributed leadership and teacher within secondary schools in China, emphasizing its relevance a context marked by traditional hierarchical structures. Utilizing structural equation model (SEM), quantitative data were collected from sample of 425 school teachers situated southern China during academic year 2022–2023. The findings reveal that exerts significant positive influence on all dimensions leadership, which include promoting professional learning, focusing learning processes, encouraging collegial collaboration, engaging decision-making, liaising with external affiliations. Distributed leadership practices in schools have gained prominence as a critical approach to meeting global educational goals. This study explored the perceptions of headteachers and teachers regarding distributed Ghana. Anchored Leadership Theoretical Framework, adopted qualitative descriptive phenomenological design underpinned by constructivist philosophical paradigm. The research focused on public basic within Old-Tafo Municipal area Ashanti Region, Using multiple sampling techniques, 15 participants were selected through census, purposive, simple random methods. Data collected using semi-structured interview guide analysed thematic analysis. found that fosters collaboration, inclusivity, shared responsibility, mutual trust among school stakeholders, serves an effective strategy alleviate headteacher burnout reduce overload. concluded is essential for enhancing teacher morale, building capacity, reducing workload. recommended Ministry Education, training institutions, prioritize continuous professional development programmes equip with skills. Collective responsibility that intertwines leadership and followership has been globally accepted as a viable means for attaining school goals. Yet, the influences of followers on leader’s effectiveness in such relationship have traditionally neglected research practice. The objective this study was to expand evidence how role characteristics contribute headteacher public basic schools Ghana.
