Over the past year, defined by COVID-19 pandemic, we have witnessed a boom in applying key emerging technologies education. In such challenging situations, technology and education expanded their work together to strengthen interactively impact learning process online higher context. From pedagogical perspective, extended reality (XR) artificial intelligence (AI) were accessible toolboxes amplify an active learner-centered teaching method. Whether how activities will continue post-COVID-19 situation remains unclear. this systematic literature review, document application of XR AI settings build up accurate depiction influence after pandemic outbreak. A significant contribution thorough analysis conducted was corroboration growing interest these fast-emerging on learner agency outcomes, making more accessible, effective, engaging, collaborative, self-paced, adapted diverse academic trajectories. The momentum brought about has served as impulse for educators universities expand use progressively, meet new challenges, shape future

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about a sudden transformation at universities. previous mode of teaching been replaced by remote education, the effectiveness which depends, among other things, on technological infrastructure universities and digital competence lecturers students. main objective this study is to evaluate learning in higher education from students’ point view. uniqueness present research approach lies identification four dimensions (socio-emotional, developmental, time-financial, negative attitude) evaluation education. survey was conducted 999 students studying remotely, including 518 women 481 men. Most surveyed had remotely for 1–2 years were full-time their first degree. tool consisted 16 mixed questions. Six them related sociodemographic factors (including those respondents’ education), eight experiences with opinions respectively. remaining two questions used collect evaluations degree importance various advantages disadvantages showed that students, most important are saving time, possibility university far home (another city, another country), combining work study, reduced commuting costs. On hand, greatest include loss social ties due lack contact peers, feelings fatigue resulting excessive use information communication tools, greater susceptibility forms distraction. In addition, shape relevant different social-emotional size more who blended (compared uniform). developmental dimension essential participate activities longer during day. extended period promotes time-financial when evaluating knowledge.

Abstract Technological revolutionary changes have boosted mobile learning’s evolution from supplementary material for teaching to a flexible, strategic, and convenient resource, driving new paths in higher education. With global increases wireless internet access the advent of highly functional smartphones tablets, which impacted rise device ownership, learning has expanded its applications as direct way implement tailored settings. Notably, during COVID-19 pandemic, together with other educational technologies, it became solicited tool remote In this systematic review, we will explore how educators researchers been documenting development impact tools process since outbreak. Results show that, embedded online education programs, empowered interaction content creation, communication, collaboration between learners instructors, significantly impacting effectiveness. Moreover, although technology is well established education, remains attractive who actively use because pedagogic potential.

The development of technology and the recent Covid-19 has moved a substantial part education into online environments, video-based learning become common format learning. An alternative to enhance co-learning experience in is make use immersive virtual reality (VR) technology. current study focused on how build sense being together an VR classroom for learning, when individual learners can schedule pace their own. Two in-class interaction mechanisms were proposed (i.e., real-time timeline-anchored interaction). impact design was investigated, with different styles visual embodiment realistic cartoon-styled), through laboratory experiment involving 48 participants, influences learners' immersion classroom, identification avatars, perceived social presence peer learners, outcomes analyzed. results showed that enabling classrooms enhances environment as well helping develop stronger co-presence more intimate perception peers. Purpose Most educational institutions worldwide have shifted to online teaching and learning approaches mitigate risks imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. This causes several issues, particularly in delivering construction management (CM) courses which require site visits, interpreting technical drawings developing 3D building models. paper aims identify key strategies for adopted during pandemic investigate implications education. Design/methodology/approach The research approach is twofold. First, study presents a systematic literature review (SLR) through synthesis of existing lessons learned about education tertiary programs. It also discusses their context sector particular. Secondly, authors shared hands-on experience as course facilitators – using autoethnography crisis. Findings In addition identifying such delivery assessments, critically barriers teaching, including (1) technological infrastructure barriers; (2) required skills competencies; (3) issues surrounding mental health wellbeing; (4) lack consistency various given program (5) difficulties around students' engagement (6) characteristics requirements. Originality/value offers some recommendations not only staff but vendors software. To prepare future delivery, proposes strategies. These include set guidelines incorporating training modules into recruitment process academic staff, applying agile resilience methods, wellbeing support continuously improving features adapt environment.

An immersive experience is a multisensory across journey or task that's contextually relevant, enabled by combination of interactions that create intuitive and emotional value for the user. As technological landscape has evolved, experiences have become increasingly integrated into our lives. The rise comes with focus on how to evaluate those considering User Experience (UX). UX multifaceted construct, its importance differs according type experience. In this scenario, knowing fundamental understanding whether are pleasant. Despite some attempts address UX, systematic approach addressing in context still needs be developed. This paper presents Systematic Literature Mapping (SLM) investigate evaluations been performed main dimensions should considered experiences, such as engagement, presence, immersion. Our result theoretical model we proposed based definitions relations from literature. can help study between dimensions, establishing primary regarding base developing new evaluation techniques.
