Water lily (Nymphaea micrantha Guill. & Perr) is an aquatic plant that well known for its nutritional value and medicinal uses. The lack of adequate information regarding propagation farming techniques has led to the low utilization this valuable plant. To address knowledge gap in use water rhizomes as explants tissue culture, study, processes sterilization, induction, proliferation, rooting culture are examined. Laboratory experiments were conducted determine best methods, materials, concentrations develop ideal method producing plants. Disinfection with 75% C2H5OH 2 min + 0.1% HgCl2 15 produced results, a contamination rate 30% browning 25%, according data. results indicated indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) optimal growth regulator induction rhizomes. Abstract Despite aiming to make conservation science and practice more effective, many conservationists default excessive precaution, advocating conservative actions—or even inaction. The field suffers from an understandable aversion unintended consequences, especially for approaches involving biotechnology “next‐generation” interventions. We call this precautionary attitude among the ethos of restraint argue replacing it with responsible action . Loosening will require (a) holistically accounting comparative risks, benefits, costs novel approaches; (b) gathering data on their consequences; (c) engaging in dialogue about intended consequences values; (d) pursuing adaptive implementation strategies.
