This study investigated physical education teachers’ competencies in virtual classroom management. The was designed as a cross-sectional using quantitative research methods and included 726 teachers working different secondary high schools Turkey. data were collected the “Teachers’ Virtual Classroom Management Competence Scale.” found that still deciding about their competence managing relationships with students classroom. Studies on students’ perceptions and expectations during physical education (PE) online learning remain scarce. Centered self-determination theory, the present cross-sectional study aims to identify gender differences predictors affecting motivation, psychological needs satisfaction (PNS), academic achievement PE learning. Data were collected from Saudi (N = 308, 161 females 147 males) responses autonomy, relatedness, competence, motivation questionnaires. Welch’s t-test for unequal sample sizes, multiple linear regression, binary logistic regression used compare means predict relationships between independent dependent variables. The results showed higher autonomy competence in female than male students, but no observed relatedness. Female students presented intrinsic motivations, lower amotivation males. However, recorded extrinsic motivation. Students with less experience weak grade point averages (GPAs) are more susceptible having a high level of amotivation. Gender, GPA, prior common all PNS amotivation, while GPA determinants is affected by learning, Therefore, teachers encouraged adapt their didactic-pedagogical behaviors according perceptions. Structuring teaching activities individualized support skills/competencies ensures better efficiency achievements.

Purpose : Physical education teacher is one of the most difficult subjects to transition online due its inherent embodiedness in nature. Anticipating challenges transitioning courses during COVID-19, we explored our experiences teaching physical emergency remote delivery. Method Using a collaborative self-study practice methodology, interrogated assumptions, actions, and lived online. Journal reflections responses, recorded meetings, documents/artifacts were analyzed using inductive reflexive thematic analysis Dewey’s theory experience. This scoping review examines the current research on digital technology use in physical education teacher (PETE). Online teaching extends beyond the mere creation of educational materials and broadcasting lectures. It should be enjoyable, engaging, collaborative, comfortable, which can achieved through implementation active learning strategies in an online environment. Therefore, this study focused on effectiveness techniques—think-pair-sharing, timed pair sharing, three-step interviews, jigsaw, case studies—on students' cognitive achievement attitudes toward learning. The involved 23 female students enrolled “Methods Teaching Physical Education (PE) Self-Defense Sports” e-course. A quasi-experimental method was employed, creating a single group blackboard e-learning systems were utilized alongside strategies. repeated-measures ANOVA conducted to assess effect size across pre, post, follow-up tests. results revealed significant differences between pre- post-measurements, with post-measurements demonstrating greater effectiveness. measurement indicated statistically compared premeasurement (η 2 = 0.98). Despite one-month interruption without or teaching, there no difference suggesting that experimental maintained their level. Furthermore, positive influence cognitive, emotional, behavioral factors. The ongoing discussion surrounding the incorporation of technology in education has persisted over time.
