Abstract This study analyzed the effects of digital literacy on life satisfaction in older adults aged 65 years and above modern day Korea. It utilized raw data from 2019–2022 Report Digital Divide, an annual survey conducted by Korean Ministry Science Information Communications Technology. ABSTRACT Objectives: to map the scientific evidence related characteristics, themes, and outcomes of using health education podcasts aimed at individuals over 18 years age in intra or extrahospital environments. Methods: a scoping review, based on Joanna Briggs Institute method, conducted 11 databases, including studies from 2004 2022. Results: were selected, categorized, highlighting evaluated outcomes, areas, conditions podcast application, indicating it as an effective tool for promoting behavioral change, promotion, social interaction, demonstrating its potential improve well-being, quality life, user/client autonomy. Introduction Older people are the group with greatest digital gap, so their literacy is important to improve conditions in which they age. Background The digital divide is apparent not only between older and younger generations but also within the adult population itself. Identifying literacy profiles among adults crucial for developing targeted strategies to narrow this divide. Objective This study aimed identify of community-dwelling examine factors associated with these profiles. Methods Data were collected from in South Korea through a nationwide cross-sectional survey that assessed related factors. Digital was evaluated across 3 domains: information communication (9 items), content creation management (4 safety security items). Latent profile analysis used adults, multinomial logistic regression predictors membership. Results A total 1016 completed structured questionnaires (average age 68, SD 6.5 years; 486/1016, 47.8% men). Three identified (P<.001): “low level” (346/1016, 34.1%), “middle (374/1016, 36.8%), “high (296/1016, 29.1%). With “middle-level” group as reference group, participants (odds ratio [OR] 1.11, 95% CI 1.07-1.15) less than middle school education (vs college degree or higher; OR 7.22, 2.31-22.54), who needed help one 10 instrumental daily activities ≥2 activities; 3.06, 1.11-8.40) did engage in-person social (OR 1.81, 1.07-3.07), more likely be “low-level” group.
