Marine algae have excellent bioresource properties with potential nutritional and bioactive therapeutic benefits, but studies regarding Caulerpa lentillifera are limited. This study aims to explore the metabolites profile antioxidant, anticancer, anti-obesity, in vitro cytotoxicity of fractionated ethanolic extract C. using two maceration soxhlet extraction methods. Dried simplicia was mashed extracted ethanol solvent, concentrated evaporated, then sequentially partitioned equal volumes ethyl acetate n-Hexane. Six samples were used this study, consisting ME (Maceration-Ethanol), MEA (Maceration-Ethyl Acetate), MH (Maceration-n-Hexane), SE (Soxhletation-Ethanol), SEA (Soxhletation-Ethyl SH (Soxhletation-n-Hexane). Non-targeted metabolomic profiling determined LC-HRMS, while anticancer DPPH ABTS, lipase inhibition, MTT assay, respectively. demonstrates that has several functional metabolites, antioxidant capacity (EC50 is very close EC50 Trolox), as well anti-obesity < orlistat, an inhibitor lipid hydrolyzing enzymes), which useful precursors for new approaches improving obesity-related diseases. More interestingly, ME, MH, novel agents drugs, especially hepatoma, breast, colorectal, leukemia cancers. Finally, can be a nutraceutical great benefits.

This study evaluated the effects of an aqueous extract Caulerpa racemosa (AEC) on cardiometabolic syndrome markers, and modulation gut microbiome in mice administered a cholesterol- fat-enriched diet (CFED). Four groups received different treatments: normal diet, CFED, CFED added with AEC at 65 130 mg/kg body weight (BW). The effective concentration (EC50) values for 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), 2,2'-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS), lipase inhibition were lower than those controls vitro. In model, administration high-dose showed improved lipid blood glucose profiles reduction endothelial dysfunction markers (PRMT-1 ADMA). Furthermore, correlation between specific microbiomes biomarkers associated diseases was also observed. vitro studies highlighted antioxidant properties AEC, while vivo data demonstrated that plays role management via regulation oxidative stress, inflammation, function (PRMT-1/DDAH/ADMA pathway), microbiota.

Marine and terrestrial organisms are rich in chemical compounds with medicinal pharmacological properties, including antitumor agents for chemoprevention. Caulerpa racemosa, a marine species, is potential source of novel therapeutic human cancer. This study aimed to determine the anticancer activity C. racemosa extracts breast cancer cells, identify compounds, mechanism using computational models. Seaweed (C. racemosa) was taken from North Sulawesi, Indonesia; Followed by authentication identification according previously published protocol extracted three different solvent: hexane, ethyl acetate, ethanol. were evaluated cytotoxicity against MCF-7 cells MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2-5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) assay. Antioxidant activities assessed based on free radical scavenging (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH)) ferric-reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) assays. The phytochemical constituents identified liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-QTOF-MS) system. interaction epidermal growth factor 2 (HER2) protein achieved molecular docking PyRx-vina application protein-ligand complex visualization. hexane extract exhibited highest followed acetate ethanol (IC50 23.7 ± 2.0; 66.7 5.8 182.7 14.3 μg/mL). best sample DPPH 21.5 2.0 μg/mL) while most active FRAP value (14.5 1.3 μg gallic acid equivalent/g).
