Religion as a coping strategy has been acknowledged to affect how people behave in the sense of individual behavior and social community. This study examines adolescents react religious stress strategies. We employed qualitative research explore adolescents' understanding, implementation, views about when dealing with stress. was conducted depth based on semi-structured interview guide comprising open-ended questions through purposive sampling among Muslim between 16 18 Malaysia. Background/Objectives: The COVID-19 pandemic created a growing need for insights into the mental health of children and youth their use coping mechanisms during this period. This systematic review with meta-analysis aims to examine the relation between different aspects of digital media use and sleep health patterns. Eligible studies had be longitudinal adolescents' sample. Multiple search strategies were applied until January 28, 2023 in order identify relevant research published peer-reviewed journal articles or available grey literature. A final set 23 (N = 116,431; 53.2% female; Mage at baseline 13.4 years) included. The quality studies, assessed an adapted version Newcastle-Ottawa Scale, was high a consequent low risk bias. Meta–analytic results showed that traditional (r −0.33 [-0.44; −0.22]), social −0.12 [-0.22; −0.01]), prolonged −0.06 [-0.11; dysfunctional −0.19 [-0.29; −0.09]) are negatively related later time point. To examine screen time (ST) before and during the pandemic changes between two points in children youth aged 0 to 21 years, identify moderating factors (mean age, male%, report type, geography, study design). Several large-scale studies and reviews have reported both negative positive associations of social media use with well-being, suggesting that the findings are more complex need nuanced study. Owing to their vulnerability public health crises, adolescents' mental status, and related risk factors in the post-pandemic era China require examination. This study aimed lay a foundation for subsequent interventions disorder prevention among adolescents. An anonymous online survey was conducted January 8–18, 2023. The comprised two parts. first part collected personal information. second included nine-item Patient Health Questionnaire, seven-item Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. Of 50,666 adolescent participants, 46.8% displayed depressive symptoms, 31.5% showed anxiety 47.9% experienced difficulties initiating sleep within 30 min, while 4.9% manifested depressive, anxiety, insomnia symptoms simultaneously. Chi-square tests revealed significant variations prevalence of these conditions according age, sex, coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) infection family increased screen time (P < 0.001). Logistic regression analysis indicated heightened rates depression, rural adolescents, females, those aged 16–18 years, individuals with history COVID-19, long COVID-19 illness, (all P status adolescents should be taken seriously, particularly that high school students, use electronic screens. Among such efforts, administrators strengthen connection psychologists, as early identification intervention are important preventing crises.

Studies examining the associations between social media use and subjective well-being have revealed inconsistent results mainly refer to between-person level. We conducted a 14-day diary study among 200 youths ages 10 14 examine within- of (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), (positive/negative self-worth, positive/negative affect), upward comparisons (general impression others being better off). Multilevel structural equation models showed that was linked lower positive higher negative self-worth on daily basis, were diminished all dimensions. Furthermore, our findings consistent with (partial) mediation effect by between- within-person levels. Youths' feelings are off than themselves may help explain part heterogeneity previous findings.

While studies have reported effects on digital media during the COVID-19 restrictions, few included data prior to pandemic, and most only measured screen time. We therefore investigated changes in specific activities, as well mental health lifestyle habits, a longitudinal study of adolescents spanning from before pandemic (T1) one month into restrictions (T2) year later when schools had reopened (T3). Adolescents (16–19 years) rated smartphone use, problematic/addictive negative experiences (e.g., victimization), (i.e., irritability, stress, closeness), protective habits sleep exercise). Results showed initial decreases irritability experiences, increases exercise, decrease closeness remote learning (T2). However, these returned to, or superseded, their levels at follow-up There were also use stress T3. Conclusively, by investigating activities collecting both different phases we able find positive effects.
