Objective: To determine the prevalence of internet addiction and its associated factors among undergraduate students attending medical universities in Myanmar. Methods: Internet was assessed using Young's test. Multiple logistic regression analysis applied to with addiction. Altogether 950 from all were included study voluntarily. Result: The population 72.2% (95%CI: 69.3%, 75.0%). According results multiple analysis, age, percentage pocket money spent for internet, time per day peer pressure, health-related behaviours (irregular meals, sleep disturbances, missing social gatherings), academic performance (postponement inability concentrate on studying) significant predictors Conclusions: There is a high Myanmar students. Abstract Low life satisfaction has often been associated with problematic social media use (PSMU), smartphone (PSU), FoMO and psychological distress. However, no studies have analyzed the relationship between satisfaction, PSMU, PSU, FoMO, distress, in an integrated model. During transitional periods, college freshmen may experience mental health issues. The Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale-21-item version (DASS-21) is commonly used for assessment in China. The association between social media use and mental health risks has been widely investigated over the past two decades with many cross-sectional studies reporting that problematic (PSMU) is associated higher risk such as anxiety depression. present study examined relationship PSMU severity (depression, anxiety, stress, loneliness) using a three-wave longitudinal design.A total of 685 first-year Chinese undergraduate students (Mean age = 19.12 years, SD 0.92) completed surveys at three times points intervals 3 to 4 months. Results revealed was positively correlated all variables time points.The prevalence increased research waves. Cross-lagged models identified bi-directional relationships risks, while links were not consistent different can change intervals.This indicates could predict each other in vicious loop, but differences specific context (e.g., term experiences university) should be ignored. The proliferation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) within educational spheres has undeniably enriched pedagogical practices through the integration digital tools. Despite these advancements, escalating use ICT devices harbors potential for internet addiction among educators. This systematic review scrutinizes prevalence, symptomatology, predictive indicators in teaching profession, addition to examining its association with physical psychological well-being. Employing a methodical approach aligned PRISMA guidelines, an analysis 15 rigorously selected scholarly articles, sourced from Web Science Google Scholar, was conducted. findings reveal prevalence rate educators ranging 5.2% 35%, pinpointing specific behaviors that may predispose individuals higher risks.
