Phytonutrients are plant foods that contain many natural bioactive compounds, called phytochemicals, which show specific biological activities. These phytonutrients and their phytochemicals may play an important role in health care maintaining normal organism functions (as preventives) fighting against diseases therapeutics). Phytonutrients’ components the primary metabolites (i.e., proteins, carbohydrates, lipids) or secondary phenolics, alkaloids, organosulfides, terpenes). For years, several have demonstrated pharmacological therapeutic effects human such as anticancer, antioxidant, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, immune response. This review summarizes of most studied popular turmeric, garlic, cinnamon, graviola, oregano) any reported contraindications. article also presents calculated physicochemical properties main selected using Lipinski’s, Veber’s, Ghose’s rules. Based on our revisions for this article, all these consistently shown great potential preventives therapeutics vitro, vivo, clinical studies.

Due to the climatic change, an increase in aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) maize contamination has been reported Europe. As alternative mineral binders, natural phytogenic compounds are increasingly used counteract negative effects of AFB1 farm animals. In cows, even low dietary concentrations may result milk excretion genotoxic carcinogen metabolite M1 (AFM1). this study, we tested ability turmeric powder (TP), extract from Curcuma longa (CL) rich curcumin and curcuminoids, reducing AFM1 mammary Holstein–Friesian cows. Both active principles inhibit hepatic synthesis interact with drug transporters involved absorption excretion. A crossover design was applied two groups cows (n = 4 each) a 4-day washout. Animals received diet contaminated levels (5 ± 1 µg/kg) for 10 days TP supplementation (20 g/head/day). treatment had no impact on yield, composition or somatic cell count. Despite tendency toward lower average content last four (below EU limits), statistically significant differences group occurred. Since bioavailability be major issue, further investigations different CL preparations warranted.

Heat stress represents a pervasive global concern with far-reaching implications for the reproductive efficiency of both animal and human populations. An extensive body published research on heat effects utilizes controlled experimental environments to expose cells tissues its disruptive influence physiological aspects phenotypic traits, encompassing parameters such as sperm quality, motility, viability, overall competence. Beyond these immediate effects, has been linked embryo losses, compromised oocyte development, even infertility across diverse species. One primary mechanisms underlying adverse outcomes is elevation reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels precipitating oxidative apoptosis within mammalian cells. Oxidative are recognized pivotal biological factors through which exerts impact male female In concerted effort mitigate detrimental consequences stress, supplementation antioxidants, in natural synthetic forms, explored potential intervention strategy. Furthermore, possess inherent self-protective that come into play during episodes aiding their survival. This comprehensive review delves multifaceted traits elucidates intricate molecular underpinning cells, compromise normal function. However, little known about onset spermatogenesis cell spermatogonial niche large animals. We used single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to profile nearly 100,000 from Hu sheep across seven developmental stages (birth, prepuberty, puberty, adulthood). constructed transcriptomic atlases identified distinct subtypes, revealing dynamic gene expression patterns spermatogenesis. Notably, we observed that two states converge into mature population puberty. Additionally, common prepubertal progenitor for with transitioning through immature before reaching maturity. Our study provides comprehensive atlas key insights regulatory mechanisms birth adulthood. This experiment was conducted to investigate growth performance, ruminal fermentation, rumen microbial protein synthesis, and serum antioxidant capacity with different doses of curcumin (CUR) included in the diet housed growing lambs. Forty-eight four-month-old Dorper × Thin-tailed Han F1 crossbred male lambs (body weight = 20.89 ± 1.15 kg, age 120 10 days; mean SD) were randomly divided into four groups for a single-factor, completely randomized experiment. Treatments comprised following: basal supplemented 0 (Control), 300 mg/kg (300 CUR), 600 (600 or 900 (900 CUR) CUR, respectively. The results showed that dietary CUR increased average daily gain (ADG), group evidenced highest value. There no significant effects on dry matter intake (DMI) DMI/ADG. Lambs higher totals volatile fatty acids (VFA) acetate than other groups, while decreased valerate observed supplementary CUR. pH ammonia N (NH3-N) concentration increasing greatest effect group. quadratic found pectinase, carboxymethyl cellulose, protease, value populations total bacteria Ruminococcus albus also responded quadratically, methanogens, protozoan, Fibrobacter succinogenes linearly receiving additional Prevotella ruminicola population. Microbial (MCP) synthesis promoted by As supplementation increased, activity (T-AOC), superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) enhanced, In conclusion, improved enhanced activity, as well promoting performance
