Abstract Objective: To benchmark the university food environment and explore students’ experiences with insecurity healthy eating in order to inform interventions improve access affordability of foods for students. The SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and the measures imposed to control it have impacted food security globally, particularly among vulnerable populations. Food insecurity, in turn, has repercussions on health, exacerbating pre-existing inequalities. This scoping review maps literature describing associations between COVID-19 pandemic insecurity migrants, with a particular view toward health. A total of 909 papers were extracted through four electronic databases, 46 studies included. migrant populations described originated mainly from Latin America (11/46) located North (21/46). Most included refugees asylum seekers (20/46). main challenges financial hardship (28/46), effect migrants' documentation status using public aid (13/46), suspension or reduction humanitarian assistance due economic recession (7/46). impact mental physical health was 26 studies. Financial stress among university students has been widely documented, impacting academic performance, mental health, and overall well-being. ABSTRACT Introduction Increasing financial pressures, resulting from a period of high inflation in 2022 and sustained into 2024, may have exacerbated food insecurity among Australian university students. Abstract Australia has a hidden but growing problem with household food insecurity, revealing the failure of conventional infrastructures to support human flourishing. Disruptions employment and livelihoods due pandemic lockdowns have exacerbated evincing uneven geography access in countries globally, including Australia. Increasing demand for relief had been observed prior COVID‐19 met by providers, which we consider as care addressing levels hunger. The aim of the present study was two-fold: Firstly, to estimate prevalence psychological distress among international students at a Hungarian university two years after COVID-19 outbreak; and secondly, identify its demographic socioeconomic factors, with special regard students' food-security status. A cross-sectional using self-administered questionnaire carried out from 27 March 3 July 2022 University Debrecen. included information on characteristics, status (six-item United States Department Agriculture Food Security Survey Module (USDA-FSSM)), (Depression, Anxiety Stress Scale (DASS-21)). Bivariate analysis conducted examine potential associations between demographic/socioeconomic factors distress. Additionally, multiple logistic regression employed further analyze these associations. Research related to food insecurity (FI) among European university student populations is currently limited, especially the studies carried out during COVID-19 pandemic. The present study aimed assess prevalence and identify possible predictors of FI students from a Spanish public university, University Basque Country UPV/EHU, A cross-sectional observational design was used, in which total 422 completed an online survey. A growing number of studies indicate that university students and especially international are prone to experiencing food insecurity (FI). Still, few have investigated forms FI among in Europe.
