Abstract Radiotherapy is one of the most important means cancer treatment, however, radiation can also cause adverse reactions and even serious injuries to skin. Radiation‐induced excess reactive oxygen species (ROS) production inflammatory infiltration make skin wounds difficult heal compared normal injuries. Herein, an antioxidant heparin‐mimetic peptide hydrogel (K16, KYKYEYEYAGEGDSS‐4Sa) designed for radiation‐induced injury (RISI) repair. First, K16 self‐assemble into a with 3D mesh‐like porous nanofiber structure, which provide certain physical support repair like extracellular matrix (ECM). Then, not only scavenges ROS prevents damage cellular DNA, but promotes cell proliferation, migration, angiogenesis. Meanwhile, 4‐sulfobenzoic acid (4Sa) modified at N‐terminal end adsorb cytokines, thus acting eliminate inflammation wound site. In vivo experiments showed that inhibit early degradation, reduce infiltration, promote angiogenesis collagen deposition, promoting healing. Therefore, in this study has good potential application field

The innate immune system serves as the body's first line of defense, utilizing pattern recognition receptors like Toll-like to detect pathogens and initiate rapid response mechanisms. Following this initial response, adaptive immunity provides highly specific sustained killing via B cells, T antibodies. Traditionally, it has been assumed that activates immunity; however, recent studies have revealed more complex interactions. This review a detailed dissection composition function systems, emphasizing their synergistic roles in physiological pathological contexts, providing new insights into link between these two forms immunity. Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic, relapsing immunoinflammatory skin condition characterized by sensations such as pruritis, pain, and neuronal hypersensitivity. The mechanisms underlying these are multifactorial involve complex crosstalk among several cutaneous components. This review explores the role components play in pathophysiology of atopic dermatitis. In intercellular spaces, sensory nerves interact with keratinocytes immune cells via myriad mediators receptors. These interactions generate action potentials that transmit pruritis pain signals from peripheral nervous system to brain. Keratinocytes, most abundant cell type epidermis, key effector cells, triggering neurons elicit inflammation. Filaggrin expression reduced dermatitis, causing weakened barrier elevated pH. Fibroblasts main dermis and, appear reduce keratinocyte differentiation, further weakening barrier. mast promote inflammation while dermal dendritic attenuate Inflammatory cytokines chemokines major AD pathogenesis.
