Abstract
This
study
examines
the
effectiveness
of
pre-seminar
online
learning
activities
in
a
blended
English
for
Academic
Purposes
(EAP)
course,
with
particular
focus
on
learner
engagement
these
activities.

investigates
influence
learners’
proficiency
levels
their
and

language
performance.

mixed-methods

was

quantitative

from
131
students
qualitative
interview
