In this study, we aimed to expand the domain specificity of grit by exploring it in realm parenting. Abstract: Grit, defined as passion and perseverance for long-term goals, has received much attention over the last decade. However, its dimensionality is still very up debate. The present study examines whether bidimensional structure of construct a statistical artifact caused by item reversal. sample consisted 1,115 participants ( M years = 38.92; SD 15.08), whom 67.3% were women. Abstract Background Life satisfaction among Korean students is declining substantially, and multifaceted improvement efforts are required. Methods We analyzed longitudinal change trajectories for exercise, grit, life levels adolescents using latent growth modeling with data from the Children Youth Panel Surveys of 2,142 (male: 1,070, female: 1,072) sixth grade (2020) through eighth (2022). Results The model, which tracked linear changes in students’ satisfaction, showed consistent declines over three school years all variables. also identified a causal relationship satisfaction. This study examines the relationship between adolescents' biophysiological stress (i.e. cortisol, alpha-amylase and oxidative stress) development of grit school engagement over one year.The aims to identify how objective affects three dimensions engagement. This study evaluated the factor structure, measurement invariance, criterion-related and incremental validity of Chinese version Academic Grit Scale (AGS) among 723 adolescents from mainland China. Results exploratory confirmatory analyses supported single-factor model, exhibiting scalar invariance across gender partial groups (i.e., middle high school students). The AGS total score showed internal consistency temporal stability when used one month later. Moreover, academic grit was shown to be positively correlated with achievement, general grit, dimensional student engagement. also predicted achievement after isolating effects related variables engagement) overlapping components variables. Overall, demonstrated adequate reliability a useful tool for examining in adolescents.

Early exposure to home chaos relates poor school performance. This association has been found consistently in educational research, however little is known about underlying common genetic and environmental factors that might affect both constructs, thus confound the effect. Genetics explain 60 % of variation performance, while (non-) shared environment constitutes remaining variance. Also differences – often considered an "environmental" factor are partially influenced genetically. Thus, we investigate effect on grades, controlling for confounders. We analyzed longitudinal data grades TwinLife study (1041 twin pairs aged 11 13). Applying a biometric cross-lagged model allowed us combine variance decomposition with estimating stability, correlational paths confounders strengthens ability draw causal inference. Results suggest confounding fully explains effects also implying mechanisms gene-environment interplay.

Introducción. Uno de los factores más determinantes del rendimiento laboral es el grado compromiso las personas con actividades que realizan. El objetivo esta investigación desarrollo y análisis psicométrico una nueva escala para la evaluación laboral. Método. Se empleó muestra 599 trabajadores en activo, 51% clasificados como emprendedores. 53% fueron hombres media edad fue 44.41 años (DT = 8.78). Resultados. La desarrollada consta 10 ítems estructura esencialmente unidimensional. fiabilidad excelente (a .92;  .92), se obtuvieron evidencias validez relación Clima Organizacional (r .540), Personalidad Emprendedora .701), Felicidad .674), Reparación Emocional .470), Estabilidad .440). Conclusión. unas buenas propiedades psicométricas, constituyendo herramienta muy adecuada su utilización tanto contextos profesionales aplicados.
