music
can

a
useful
avenue
through
which
refugeeism
may
be
creatively
discussed
in
new
light.
Utilizing
counternarrative
lens,
this
thesis
presents
textual
analysis
albums
from
K’naan,
M.I.A.,
and
Wyclef
Jean,
prominent
musicians
who
utilize
global
expressions
rap
address
experiences.
Through
both

realities

perspectives,

artists
