Common homogeneous electrochemical (HEC) sensors usually suffer from the drawbacks of high background signal, low signal-to-noise ratio, and even false positive results due to preaddition electroactive substances. Thus, it is necessary develop novel HEC based on in situ generation substances overcome these shortcomings, which, however, underexplored. In this work, two-dimensional (2D) nanozymes, i.e., cobalt-doped 2D Ti3C2 MXene nanosheets (CMNSs), with excellent peroxidase-like properties were utilized for organophosphate pesticides (OPs) detection. The CMNSs synthesized via a template-directed wet chemical approach displayed outstanding features hydrophilia water dispersibility, which could catalyze oxidation o-phenylenediamine (OPD) generate significantly increased reduction current. Interestingly, exhibited unique response thiol compounds thus employed as highly efficient catalysts OPs hydrolysis acetylthiocholine (ATCh) form thiocholine catalyzed by acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibition AChE activity OPs. recovery analysis pakchoi extract solutions ranged 97.4% 103.3%. as-proposed sensor will provide new way development high-performance demonstrate potential applicability determination pesticide residues real samples.

Biomimic nanozymes coassembled by peptides or proteins and small active molecules provide an effective strategy to design attractive nanozymes. Although some promising have been reported, rational regulation for higher catalytic activity of biomimic remains challenging. Hence, we proposed a novel nanozyme encapsulating the coassembly hemin/bovine serum albumin (BSA) in zeolite imidazolate frameworks (ZIF-8) achieve controllable tailoring peroxidase-like via confinement effect. The assembly Hemin@BSA was inspired structure horseradish peroxidase (HRP), which hemin served as cofactor surrounded BSA blocking pocket construct favorable hydrophobic space substrate enrichment. Benefiting from effect, ZIF-8 with porous intracavity identified ideal outer layer accelerate transport internal circulation catalysis, significantly enhancing its activity. Especially, precise encapsulation could also prevent it decomposition harsh environments rapid crystallization around form protective shell. Based on improved Hemin@BSA@ZIF-8, several applications were successfully performed sensitive detection including H2O2, glucose, bisphenol A (BPA). Satisfactory results highlight that using encapsulate offers very successful improve stability nanozymes, broadening potential application biocatalytic metal-organic (MOFs).

A novel metal–organic framework (MOF)-on-MOF dual enzyme-mimic nanozyme was designed as enhanced cascade signal amplification for the colorimetric and chemiluminescent (CL) dual-mode aptasensing. The MOF-on-MOF hybrid is composed of MOF-818 with catechol oxidase-like activity iron porphyrin MOF [PMOF(Fe)] peroxidase-like activity, called MOF-818@PMOF(Fe). can catalyze 3,5-di-tert-butylcatechol substrate produce H2O2 in situ.
