The limit detection (LOD) to 0.18 pg/mL range 1–104 buffer medium under optimum experimental conditions. selectivity against ochratoxin A, fumonisin B1 deoxynivalenol mycotoxins examined it selective PAT. performed an first time by using smartphone-integrated portable device, accordingly, LOD 0.47 achieved diluted medium. recovery 91.24–93.47% obtained detection.

Apple and apple derivatives (e.g., juices, puree) are the most important foodstuffs contaminated with patulin (PAT) in human diet.
