Circadian
clocks
are

mechanisms
that

rhythms

functions

species.

The
circadian
rhythm
is
an
evolutionarily
conserved
time-keeping
system
that
comprises
a
wide
variety
of
processes
including
sleep-wake
cycles,
eating-fasting
and
activity-rest
