Abstract Aim To analyse the factorial structure and psychometric properties of Chinese Short‐Form Five Facets Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ‐SF) among nursing students in mainland. Design A cross‐sectional study. Methods total 240 undergraduate were recruited from a school Beijing, China 25 to 30 April 2021. FFMQ‐SF Depression‐Anxiety‐Stress Scale used collect information on mindfulness level mental health status study participants. Descriptive analyses performed examine demographic characteristics. Confirmatory factor (CFAs) test structural, convergent discriminant validity scale model. Pearson correlation analysis was between variables criterion validity. Results The overall fit model is good (Bollen–Stine χ 2 = 177.206, df 142, GFI 0.923, AGFI 0.883, TLI 0.980, CFI 0.983, RMSEA 0.032, SRMR 0.090). One‐factor models using CFA demonstrated best for four out five subscales FFMQ‐SF. In five‐factor FFMQ‐SF, composite reliability values factors 0.685 0.870 average variance extracted 0.426 0.627. Patient or Public Contribution who participated this contributed advancement knowledge China. They voluntarily completed online questionnaires provided their honest valid responses. Their data evaluate relationship psychological problems. feedback also helped improve quality applicability instrument future research practice.

Fostering helps develop capacity adapt adversity, overcome setbacks, remain committed providing high-quality care. qualitative study explores challenges supports influencing nursing students' during education. Interviews with 28 Thai revealed two key themes: "experience vulnerability" meaningfulness". The sub-themes vulnerability included "navigating uncertainty", "transcending professional struggles", "being exposed diverse encounters". meaningfulness focused on restoring strength through social interactions engaging in positive transformation. highlights need comprehensive support systems that address personal vulnerabilities. Abstract Background Nurses’ professional competencies play a significant role in providing safe care to patients. Identifying the acquired and expected nursing education gaps between them can be good guide for institutions improve their educational practices. Methods In descriptive-comparative study, students’ perception of from perspective Iranian faculties were collected with two equivalent questionnaires consisting 85 items covering 17 across 5 domains. A cluster sampling technique was employed on 721 final-year students 365 faculties. The data analyzed using descriptive statistics independent t-tests. Results results study showed that highest scores faculties’ work readiness development, mean 3.54 (SD = 0.39) 4.30 0.45), respectively. Also, lowest score both groups evidence-based 2.74 0.55) 3.74 0.57), comparison competencies, as viewed by faculties, difference groups’ all core-competencies sub-core ( P < .001). Evidence-based (mean diff 1) process 0.70). Conclusion highlight concerns about gap achieved Iran. Further research is recommended identify reasons plan how reduce it.
