Abstract BACKGROUND Cytochrome P450 monooxygenases (P450s) are recognized as a major contributor to metabolic resistance in insects most insecticides, through gene overexpressions and protein mutations. MicroRNA (miRNA), an important post‐transcriptional regulator, has been reported promote insecticide by mediating the expression of detoxification enzyme genes. RESULTS In present study, we that novel microRNA PC‐5p‐3991_515 was involved regulation CYP417A2 mediated triflumezopyrim susceptibility small brown planthopper (SBPH), Laodelphax striatellus (Fallén). The tissue profiles showed highly expressed fat body. significantly up‐regulated at 12, 36, 60, 84 108 h after treatment. RNA interference (RNAi) against increased SBPH. According prediction miRanda TargetScan software, three miRNAs were indicated bind . However, when oversupply agomir, only two miRNAs, PC‐3p‐625_4405 PC‐5p‐3991_515, decreased levels. Furthermore, confirmed be dual luciferase reporter assay. Meanwhile, co‐localized with midgut situ hybridization. CONCLUSION Our findings revealed microRNA, post‐transcriptionally regulated expression, which then © 2023 Society Chemical Industry.

Abstract BACKGROUND Chinese chives ( Allium tuberosum Rottler ex Sprengel) are favored by consumers because of its delicious taste and unique fragrance. Bradysia odoriphaga (Diptera: Sciaridae) is a main pest that severely harms other Liliaceae's production. Climate change may the future distribution B. in China. In this study, CLIMEX was employed to project potential China, based on China's historical climate data (1987–2016) forecast (2021–2100). RESULTS distributed mainly between 19.8° N–48.3° N 74.8° E–134.3° E, accounting for 73.25% total mainland area China under conditions. Among them, favorable highly habitats accounted 30.64% distribution. Under conditions, will be N–49.3° 73.8° 84.89% area. account 35.23% distribution, indicating an increase degree fitness. Areas with relatively appropriate temperature humidity more suitable survival . Temperature important determinant climatic suitability than humidity. Host plants (Liliaceae) availability also had impact some regions. CONCLUSIONS These projected distributions provide supportive information monitoring early forecasting outbreaks, reduce economic ecological losses. © 2024 Society Chemical Industry.
