Overview: In this study, the physical and chemical properties of curcumin are extensively examined when it is incorporated into liposome nanoparticles, to enhance its therapeutic potency bioavailability. Curcumin, a plant-derived polyphenol, has garnered attention for anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-cancer activities. However, clinical utility hindered by several limitations, including poor water solubility, inadequate absorption, rapid metabolism. By leveraging potential nanoparticles improve drug delivery efficacy, research aims overcome these obstacles unlock full curcumin. Methods: Curcumin-loaded (CLLNs) were fabricated employing thin-film hydration method, after sonication. The physicochemical attributes CLLNs subsequently characterized, encompassing particle size zeta assessment utilizing dynamic light scattering (DLS), encapsulation efficiency (EE%) loading (DLE%) determination through high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), investigation in vitro release patterns simulated biological fluids. Results: optimized study had mean diameter less than 250 nm negative surface charge, implying good stability cellular uptake. both found be high, indicating that was effectively loaded liposomes. testing showed sustained pattern from CLLNs. Conclusion: offered important observations about advantageous features curcumin-loaded highlighting their as cutting-edge system demonstrated have high efficiencies, well controlled improved stability, which suggests ability benefits These findings set stage future vivo trials fully investigate medical applications.

Recently, role of vitamin D deficiency increasing severity valve involvement calcification with RHD has been suggested. However, its severe stenosis mitral is unknown. The aim this study was to determine relationship between serum levels 25(OH)D scores (MS). Materials Methods: In cross-sectional conducted Shahid Madani Heart Center, Tabriz, Iran, 104 rheumatic MS were reviewed, absence other underlying diseases. Trans-esophageal Echocardiography performed for all patients, Wilkins score area calculated. Blood samples taken from 25(OH)D, total calcium, phosphorus, i-PTH measured. Results: Eighty eight cases female 16 male. Eighty-one had mild moderate 23 severely calcified. Furthermore, 54 deficient, while 35 insufficient levels, only 15 normal blood D. addition high iPTH present 83 (80%). phosphorous, score, not significantly correlated (p>0.05 above). Conclusions: Although no correlation found involvement, secondary hyperparathyroidism tend be common among MS, which may play progression disease.
