Abstract Due to the broadband response and low selectivity of external light, negative photoconductivity (NPC) effect holds great potential applications in photoelectric devices. Herein, different photoresponsive carbon nanodots (CDs) are prepared from diverse precursors NPC CDs utilized achieve optoelectronic logic gates optical imaging for first time. In detail, mcu ‐CDs which by microwave‐assisted polymerization citric acid urea possess large specific surface area abundant hydrophilic groups as sites adsorption H 2 O molecules thereby present a high conductivity dark. Meanwhile, affinity permits light‐induced desorption heat thus endow with under illumination. The easy absorption contribute extraordinary ‐CDs. With CDs, flexible system established, achieving “NOR” or “NAND” operations high‐quality images. These findings unveil unique properties have advance

Herein, we report a metal-facilitated method ultrabright green-emissive nanodots via the one-step solvothermal treatment of rose bengal, ethanol, various metal ions. These metal-doped show good water dispersity, ultrahigh photoluminescence quantum yields (PLQYs) (e.g., PLQY Fe-doped (FeNDs) was ∼97%), low phototoxicity. Owing coordination effect ions, FeNDs realize glutathione detection with outstanding properties. Benefiting from high endoplasmic reticulum (ER) affinity chloride group, can act as an ER tracker long imaging capacity (FeNDs: >24 h; commercial tracker: ∼1 h) superb photostability achieve tissue in living
