Liver metastases are frequently observed in various malignancies, including hepatocellular carcinoma, colorectal cancer, pancreatic and melanoma. As hepatic resident macrophages, Kupffer cells play a crucial role resisting liver metastasis by phagocytosing clearing invading tumor cells.
