To estimate prevalence and factors associated with major depressive episode (MDE), emphasizing occupational aspects, in workers of a public teaching hospital that is reference for Covid-19 treatment.A cross-sectional study was carried out between October December 2020, after the first peak pandemic, interviewing 1,155 workers. The MDE estimated using Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) algorithm. Multivariate hierarchical analysis conducted Poisson regression to assess factors.MDE 15.3% (95%CI: 13.3-17.5) higher among young, white female workers, those family history depression, resident professionals, nursing who were exposed three or more situations moral dilemma, had put off physiological need until later. Having risk factor Covid-19, being smoker physically inactive also positively MDE.The points considerable tertiary health care workers; reviewing work processes essential reduce stress minimize effects pandemic on mental health, preventing problems from becoming chronic.

Introdução: Estudos indicam que os profissionais de saúde têm alto risco desenvolver sintomas relacionados à mental, especialmente depressão, ansiedade e estresse. Objetivo: identificar sintetizar estudos sobre preditores a mental entre enfermeiros atuam na linha frente no combate ao COVID-19. Método: Trata-se uma revisão escopo, sem limitação linguagem ano, nas bases BVS, PubMed, SCIELO, CINAHL, SCOPUS, Web of Science, MedNar, CAPES ProQuest. Foi realizada síntese narrativa. Resultados: A pandemia da COVID-19 trouxe sérios impactos dos enfermagem, achados revelaram cinco temas principais sentimento insegurança, falta equipamentos proteção individual, exames diagnósticos, mudanças fluxo atendimento medo do desconhecido. Existe associação significativa o bem-estar físico metal produtividade laboral. Conclusão: Destaca-se desafios enfrentados pelos COVID-19, mesmo com repercussões ambiente trabalho ainda padecem reconhecimento adequado incluem situações estresse, ansiedade, depressão estão diretamente relacionadas frustração, esgotamento impotência insegurança profissional vivenciados durante pandemia, principalmente por jovens experiência cuidado pacientes críticos.

The studied sample consisted 437 professionals invited by electronic means, who answered questionnaire sociodemographic information, occupational aspects clinical conditions. Distress at work were considered as outcomes, which analyzed multinomial logistic regression regarding associated independent variables. Results Most participants female (71.0%), nurses (55.6%), weekly working shift 40 hours more (75.8%); 61.6% suffered from mental distress. psychosocial characteristics high-strain low social support reported 23.8% 52.9% participants, respectively. RESUMO Objetivou-se investigar as condições de trabalho e a saúde física mental profissionais atuantes na linha frente da covid-19 em serviços urgência, emergência terapia intensiva no Brasil, segundo ano pandemia. Estudo transversal, com uso questionário eletrônico, por meio do qual coletaram-se dados sobre trabalho, mental, além instrumento Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS-21). A amostra (n=209) incluiu enfermeiros (28,7%), técnicos enfermagem (30,1%), fisioterapeutas (33%) médicos (8,2%). Os possuíam idade média 34,6 anos relataram uma carga horária 53,5 horas/semana. Verificou-se aumento das horas trabalhadas (62%) quantidade pacientes (84%). maioria relatou bom relacionamento o chefe (89%) satisfação (87%). prevalência sintomas estresse, ansiedade depressão foi superior 45%, predomínio graves ou extremamente graves. dor musculoesquelética fadiga 84,7% 83,3%, respectivamente. apresentaram volume exigência durante pandemia covid-19.
