Developed countries have successfully implemented various Industry 4.0 (I4.0) initiatives, showcasing their ability to reap the benefits of this new industrial revolution. Active pursuit excellence in is evident these nations. However, Africa, many still lack a clear understanding 4.0, with some remaining trapped 1.0 and others facing challenges transitioning 2.0. Moreover, significant number African continue grapple limited access reliable electricity. To address issue, study examines seven strategies identified as criteria for enhancing adoption within East Community (EAC). These are derived from observations initiatives developed countries. Subsequently, used evaluate rank level two specific tackle complex group decision-making, integrates Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) technique Step-Wise Weight Ratio Analysis (SWARA) spherical fuzzy (SF) framework. The SF-SWARA approach applied determine weight importance criteria, while SF-WASPAS employed based on weighted by SF-SWARA. According findings, it was revealed that education training, research, development, innovation, well public-private partnerships policy three most influential significantly improving community. Furthermore, results indicate Rwanda stands out leading country terms implementing enhance technology. verify reliability suitability proposed methodology, sensitivity analysis conducted, which affirmed stability practicality suggested approach.

Sustainable food supplier selection (SFSS) can be handled as an uncertain decision-making issue. The Pythagorean fuzzy set (PFS), a type of non-standard set, offers expanded description space for articulating and data. Accordingly, this paper proposes synthetic decision method-based framework solving the SFSS problem within subjective context. Then, weighted distance measures PFS are introduced to derive importance degrees experts, which provide more objective result. information fusion method with PFS-weighted power average (WPA) operator is form group matrix competent accommodate deviation effect. Next, extended PF-measurement alternatives ranking according compromise solution (MARCOS) integrating PF-criteria through inter-criteria correlation (CRITIC) presented calculate priority each supplier, capture inter-correlations between criteria. Finally, numerical example implemented show application proposed approach. Subsequently, sensitivity analysis parameters comparison among different approaches were conducted test rationality advantages resolving problem. results that reported practical way resolve problems

Decision-makers, researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders often struggle with selecting prioritizing strategies to manage climate change risks. While recent research extensively explores this issue, the emphasis has largely been on regions other than Africa. This is significant, considering Africa’s anticipated exposure various severe impacts of change. study applied a two-stage model that integrates Step-Wise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis (SWARA) Weighted Aggregated Sum Product (WASPAS) methods within unique framework under influence spherical fuzzy (SF) conditions. In initial stage, SF-SWARA determines relative importance criteria, while subsequent stage involves SF-WASPAS method rank strategies. most critical challenges are limited access finance inadequacies in data, scenarios, impact models, solution be considered promotion well-coordinated capacity-building programme.
