The diagnosis of oral lichen planus (OLP) poses many challenges due to its nonspecific clinical symptoms and histopathological features. Therefore, the diagnostic process should include a thorough history, immunological tests, histopathology. Our study aimed enhance accuracy OLP by integrating direct immunofluorescence (DIF) results with data develop multivariate predictive model based on Artificial Neural Network. Eighty patients were assessed using DIF for various markers (immunoglobulins classes G, A, M; complement 3; fibrinogen type 1 2) characteristics such as age, gender, lesion location. Statistical analysis was performed machine learning techniques in Statistica 13. following variables assessed: age day onset, immunofluorescence, location white patches, locations erosions, treatment medications dietary supplement intake, dental status, smoking flossing, mouthwash. Four statistically significant selected after initial assessment. final model, neural networks, achieved 85% testing sample 71% validation sample. Significant predictors included stress at patches under tongue, erosions mandibular gingiva. In conclusion, while shows promise, larger datasets more comprehensive are needed improve OLP, highlighting need further research collaborative collection efforts.

Objectives: We aimed determine the influence of scabies on quality life psychosocial health using Dermatology Quality Life Index (DQOL) Depression Anxiety Stress-42 (DASS-42) Scale analyse whether there correlation between two scales any sociodemographic clinical characteristics. Methods: patients (>16 years) who presented our Outpatient Clinics were enrolled. Age, gender, occupation, marital status education level features recorded. DQOL DASS-42 used. Abstract Objectives To perform a systematic review and meta‐analysis in order to qualitatively quantitatively evaluate the prevalence magnitude of association hypertension patients with oral lichen planus (OLP). Methods MEDLINE, Embase, Scopus, Web Science databases were searched for studies published before May 2022, not restricted by publication language or date. The methodological quality risk bias primary‐level critically assessed. Meta‐analyses performed, as well meta‐regression, stratified, sensitivity small‐study effects analyses, Galbraith (radial) plot, trial sequential analysis. Quality evidence was evaluated using GRADE system. Results 104 studies, including 16,587 patients, met inclusion criteria. results show that who suffer from OLP have high (PP = 24.17%, 95% CI 21.45–27.00), low evidence. A significant between also reported (OR 1.28, 1.01–1.63, p 0.04), showing moderate Conclusions Patients could be at an increased suffering which is probably due multiple factors. We aimed estimate the spectrum and frequency OMLs identify their associated socioeconomic status (SES) systemic health a remote area Yunnan, Methods screened patients an medicine clinic China, from August 2020 February 2021. were documented. SES, including highest education level achieved previous month's household income, as well patient's health, history smoking, alcohol use, chronic disease, obtained Medical History/Health Questionnaire Form patient medical records. Results A total 146 found have OMLs. The most frequent OML was aphthous ulcer ( n = 41, 28.1%), followed by burning mouth syndrome (BMS) 16, 11.0%), viral 14, 9.6%), lichen planus (OLP) 9, 6.2%). In these patients, common diseases sleep apnea 35, 24.0%), hypertension 23, 15.8%), bronchitis reflux (including gastroesophageal disease) 12, 8.2%), arthritis 11, 7.5%). On adjusted regression, without had lower risk BMS than those with [odds ratio (OR), 0.2; 95% confidence interval (CI), 0.03–0.9]. Age independent protective factor ulcers (OR, 1.0; CI, 0.9–1.0). Patients low-income levels OLP high-income 0.05–0.9). Conclusions Our showed ulcer, which BMS, OLP. Oral policies should be prioritized among ulcer. Preventive strategy targeted people disease equalities. Therefore, individualized interventions might optimal, based on specific epidemiologic characteristics settings.
