Green influencers are crucial in promoting sustainable lifestyles, but their impact may vary depending on audience. Their behavioral effect might be limited if they were mainly "preaching to the choir" of like-minded green followers who likely already consume sustainably. The purpose this research is (1) investigate communication practices and as an indicator attitudes (and a potential influencer-follower attitude fit) (2) understand consumer response influencer messages. Field data reveal high fit that mostly talk about topics. Two experiments with real fictional show negative implications fit: posts consumers' usage intention weaker when these consumers have similar (fit), whereas stronger reach non-green audience (non-fit). This implies should focus reaching consumption; alternatively, intentions increase through messages from (e.g., beauty) influencers.

Abstract This research explores the characteristics of green influencer messages on follower engagement by examining interplay between message framing (gain vs. loss), construal level (high low), and post timing (weekdays weekends). Green influencers (also: greenfluencers or sustainable influencers) are considered a key agent for change to more consumption. A pilot field study 1000 influencers, however, indicates that current communication practices (which strongly focus gain frames, low construal, posts during week) not ideal maximizing behavioral intentions. Two experiments replicate this finding establish process through which affect engagement: frames increase fluency, increases engagement; levels decrease psychological distance, engagement. Timing moderates these processes in weekend with week low‐construal frames. These findings highlight there is no silver bullet messages, but need adapt their posts' contribution lifestyles greater good.

The paper contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targeting Life Below Water by introducing user-friendly modeling approaches. It delves into impact of abiotic factors on first two trophic levels within marine ecosystem, both naturally and due human influence. Specifically, study examines connections between environmental parameters (e.g., temperature, salinity, nutrients) plankton along Romanian Black Sea coast during warm season over a decade. research develops models forecast zooplankton proliferation using machine learning (ML) algorithms gathered data. temperature significantly affects copepods “other groups” densities season. Conversely, no discernible is observed dinoflagellate Noctiluca scintillans blooms. Salinity fluctuations notably influence typical phytoplankton proliferation, with phosphate concentrations primarily driving widespread explores scenarios for forecasting growth: Business as Usual, predicting modest increases in constant nutrient levels, Mild scenario, projecting substantial salinity alongside significant decrease 2042. findings underscore high under scenarios, particularly pronounced second surpassing around 70%.
