Abstract With growing public concerns about ecological issues, it has been increasingly critical for corporations to enhance their green competitive advantages. Utilizing a natural‐resource‐based view of firm and human resource management (HRM) perspective, we propose that HRM (GHRM) promotes firms' advantages by facilitating two kinds innovation (i.e., product/process innovation). Via two‐wave survey study chief resources officers (CHOs) financial (CFOs) from 69 companies in China, find support GHRM positively links product process innovations, each which will, turn, have positive correlation with advantage. Moreover, an indirectly linkage between advantage via types is also proved. Our expands current research demonstrating effect building revealing parallel mechanisms such effect.
