Hydroxyapatite can combine with polysaccharide originating biomaterials special applications in the biomedical field. In this review, synthesis of (nano)composites is discussed, focusing on natural polysaccharides such as alginate, chitosan, and pectin. way, advances recent years development preparing materials are revised discussed. Therefore, an overview polyssacharides@hydroxyapatites presented. Several studies based chitosan@hydroxyapatite combined other inorganic matrices highlighted, while pectin@hydroxyapatite present a smaller number reports. Abstract In order to improve the structural properties of clays and composites powdered spirulina, clay, nanosilica, hydroxyapatite, TiO 2 ZnO were used as an additive for mechanical processing. As a result, with natural nanostructured materials (NNM) are prepared improved bioactivity. The mixtures based on NNM crystalline kaolinite, admixtures processed in knife mill. characterized using FTIR spectroscopy, nitrogen adsorption desorption, SEM release bioactive components (anthocyanin 0,004–0,07 mg/g; chlorophyll 20–29 mg/g), composite toxicity level (below 25%), particle size measurement surface charge density, zeta potential.
