Ultraviolet B (UVB)-induced cell death causes skin photoaging. In this study, we investigated the protective effect of Melanogrammus aeglefinus oligopeptide (MSOP) in UVB-irradiated human keratinocytes. The method preparing MSOP was optimized, and three peptides with high abundance, VADML (Val-Ala-Asp-Met-Leu), IARF (Ile-Ala-Arg-Phe) SSPSF (Ser-Ser-Pro-Ser-Phe), were identified. Background . Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a common respiratory disease. Currently, no specific treatment strategy has been established; therefore, finding new methods essential. Clinically, Shenqi Huatan Decoction (SQHT) traditional Chinese medicinal formula for COPD treatment; however, its mechanism of action in needs to be clarified. Methods The rat model was replicated by cigarette smoking and tracheal injection using the LPS method. control group SQHT groups were treated with dexamethasone gavage, respectively. After treatment, superoxide dismutase (SOD) serum levels, total antioxidant capacity (TAOC), lipid peroxidation, malondialdehyde (MDA) detected enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Activated protein kinase alpha (AMPK‐ α ), forkhead transcription factor O3a (FOXO3a), manganese SOD (MnSOD), peroxisome proliferator‐activated receptor gamma (PPAR γ ) reverse transcriptase quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT‐qPCR) Western blot. Microribonucleic acid expression levels measured, pathological changes lung tissue observed hematoxylin eosin staining. Results findings suggested that substantially affects enhancing alveolar fusion reducing emphysema. Curcumin, a polyphenol derived from Curcuma longa, used as dietary spice, has garnered attention for its therapeutic potential, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties. Despite known benefits, the precise mechanisms underlying curcumin’s effects on consumers remain unclear. To address this gap, we employed genetic model Drosophila melanogaster leveraged two omics tools—transcriptomics metabolomics. Our investigation revealed alterations in 1043 genes 73 metabolites upon supplementing curcumin into diet. Notably, observed modulation pathways related to antioxidants, carbohydrates, lipids, well associated with gustatory perception reproductive processes. Metabolites implicated carbohydrate metabolism, amino acid biosynthesis, biomarkers linked prevention of neurodegenerative diseases such schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s, aging were also identified. The study highlighted strong correlation between diet, antioxidant mechanisms, metabolism. Conversely, lower was metabolism cholesterol biosynthesis.
