Sustainable development of rural has become an essential global plan. Habitat sustainability assessment is a critical management tool to grasp the status in real-time and enable dynamic adjustment policies. This paper combines 2030 Development Goals (SDGs) with entropy weight method, TOPSIS, grey correlation analysis construct multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) evaluation model, which finally used assess human settlement environment. Finally, this uses 11 prefecture-level cities Zhejiang Province 2021 as case study for environment evaluation. The results show that overall level better than most regions China. Hangzhou best sustainability, Zhoushan worst. In addition, production factor constrains sustainability. provide references guidance policymakers sustainable initiatives.

Due to growing sustainability challenges, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are under tremendous pressure implement sustainable practices in their operations. Studies this regard show that almost all cases, transition from a traditional approach manufacturing is not at smooth experience as it fraught with pitfalls on several counts the implementation stage. Therefore, analyzing probable barriers implementing right set of strategies duly addressing them becomes utmost crucial successfully practices. The study particularly aims identifying prioritizing such overcome very phase. identified some twenty one odd through an extensive literature review expert opinions classified into four categories. In same way, nine specific were address comprehensive review. An Integrated Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process-Fuzzy Technique for Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution (FAHP-FTOPSIS) has been used further prioritize Indian SMEs. result depicts that, “Ineffective enforcement law (B22)”, “Complexity 6Rs (B17)”, controlling monitoring system (B24)”, “Need standardized carbon auditing (B15)” “Heavy dependence fossil fuels (B14)” top five hamper whereas, out proposed “Implementation lean green techniques (S2)” “Establishment benchmark performance measuring systems (S6)” found be two most important should employed eliminate barriers. findings provide strategic insights guiding decision-makers practitioners SMEs regards implementation. Human-driven environmental stressors are increasingly threatening species survival and diversity of river systems worldwide. However, it remains unclear how the affect stability changes across aquatic multiple communities. Here, we used DNA (eDNA) data sets from a human-dominated in China over 3 years analyzed communities under persistent anthropogenic stressors, including land use pollutants. First, found that significantly reduced multifaceted (e.g., richness, Shannon's diversity, Simpson's diversity) but increased synchrony Second, structures interaction networks inferred an empirical meta-food web were changed for example, resulting decreased network modularity negative/positive cohesion. Third, piecewise structural equation modeling proved stress-induced decline mainly depended upon diversity-mediated pathways rather than direct effects stress per se; specifically, increase main biotic drivers variation. Overall, our study highlights destabilizing on as well mechanistic dependencies, through reducing increasing synchrony, changing networks.

Entropy weight model (EWM) is the most widely used objective weighting method for evaluating water quality. However, pollutant data of which concentrate on high polluted grade, EWM often neglects its importance, discrimination degree low. To solve this problem, a pollution scale (PSWM) proposed based improved fuzzy variable theory. In PSWM, importance indicator quantified by relative membership to vague concept: "pollution". The higher is, larger is; and vice versa. And then, PSWM applied into quality evaluation Southeastern Poyang Lake. Results are as follows. (1) memberships CODMn, NH3-N, TP concept "pollution" 0.39, 0.33, 0.99, respectively. according their weights 0.227, 0.193, 0.580, (2) comprehensive indices Nanjishan wetland, lake region, Xin River estuary, Rao estuary 36.2, 28.6, 25.7 21.1, respectively, all belong "bad" grade. environment Lake suffers serious damage, aquatic ecosystem faces threat. (3) Compared with EWM, can highlight seriously index emphasize practical significance in resources management, thereby effectively improving accuracy rationality evaluation.

The Rural human settlements environment (RHSE) is an important guarantee for the implementation of rural revitalization strategy and may be affected by many factors such as water quality, economy environmental protection. This article focuses on temporal spatial variability RHSE to explore a method dynamic successive assessment. Firstly, systematic causal indicator system developed from four aspects agricultural origin environment, sanitary conditions, ecological protection, economic development. Then, Variable Fuzzy Pattern Evaluation (VFPE) model analytic hierarchy process-entropy (AHP-E) are combined successively dynamically assess RHSE. proposed applied assessment in China, including inter-province comparisons. The results show that China's has improved significantly over time, which reflects government achieved remarkable governance long time. In distribution characteristics, Beijing, Tianjin southeastern coastal regions maintained highest, followed northeast, north central regions, western region was lowest. Port-centric intermodal transshipment hubs are significant nodes in the global freight network and likewise gateway to a country’s external communications. It is vital increase service capacity of PCITHs, it necessary assess port-centric respond growth economies needs. This study provides detailed definition through review relevant kinds works from literature analyzes their primary functions. Based on research perspective sea–rail transportation, three evaluation dimensions divided into radiation scale capacity, transportation connection resource integration focusing functions cargo aggregation, transfer, different modes. The indicators were then selected based dimensions. subjective objective weightings calculated by G1 weighting method modified CRITIC method, combination determined game theory. capability was evaluated fuzzy matter element results quantified Euclidean closeness degree. Finally, barrier degree model, current PCITHs that urgently need improvement explored, targeted suggestions proposed this paper. show Tianjin Port has highest followed Ningbo Zhoushan Port. port rail dedicated line mileage most critical area needs attention Qingdao improve container volume, while Guangzhou Xiamen handling capacity.
