Objective:
Simultaneous
use

alcohol

Abstract
Background
Difficulties
in
emotion
regulation
(DER)
are
widely
considered
to
underlie
anxiety
and
depression.
Given
the
prevalence
of
depression
adolescents

adolescence

Difficulties
in
emotion
regulation
(DER)
and
reactivity
(ER)
are
important
causes
consequences
of
psychiatric
disorders
such
as
depression
anxiety,
previous
research
suggests
that
there
many
interactions
between
them.
Understanding
the
structure
their
relationship,
which
components
may
play
a
key
role,
will
help
provide
insight
into
adolescents
guidance
for
clinical
interventions.

this
study,
we
collected
data
from
483

network
analysis
methods
to
explore
relationship
DER
ER,

core
nodes.

access
strategies"

central
node
network.

Objective
Negative
urgency
(NU)
and
distress
tolerance
(DT)
are
two
similar
yet
distinct
constructs
with
putative
transdiagnostic
relevance,
particularly
across
psychopathology
characterized
by
impulsivity
(e.g.,
substance
use
disorders
[SUD],
eating
featuring
binging
and/or
purging
ED‐B/P,
borderline
personality
disorder
[BPD]).

DT

BPD
symptomatology
