Digital transformation has become an important engine for economic high-quality development and environment high-level protection. However, green total factor productivity (GTFP), as indicator that comprehensively reflects environmental benefits, there is a lack of studies analyze the effect digital on heavily polluting enterprises' GTFP from micro perspective, its impact mechanism still unclear. Therefore, we aim to study mechanism, explore heterogeneity impact. We use Chinese A-share listed enterprises in industry data 2007 2019, measure enterprise using text analysis, GML index based SBM directional distance function, investigate GTFP.Digital can significantly enhance GTFP, this finding holds after considering endogenous problem conducting robustness tests. by promoting innovation, improving management efficiency, reducing external transaction costs. The improvement role more obvious samples non-state-owned enterprises, non-high-tech industries, eastern region. Compared with blockchain technology, artificial intelligence cloud computing big technology application improve GTFP.Our paper breaks through limitations existing research, which not only theoretically enriches literature related but also practically provides policy implications continuously facilitating their development.

Promoting enterprise digital transformation is of great significance in accelerating the innovation capability green technology and boosting low-carbon economic development. Therefore, based on textual analysis annual reports, measurement index was constructed, combined with data listed, A-share companies Shanghai Shenzhen from 2011 to 2021, a quantitative study conducted relationship between innovation. The shows that there significant positive correlation CEO IT background plays moderating role enterprises. Based perspective fiscal incentives, it found different incentive policies play roles an enterprises’ innovation; is, government subsidies intermediary two, tax preferences two. This research enriches mechanism innovation, provides useful exploration for further promotion both

Abstract In the digital era, organizations strategically adopt transformation to thrive and prosper. particular, they allocate substantial resources cultivate orientation. However, limited research has explored how orientation impacts performance of small medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Our study sheds light on this relationship, examining it through lens a resource-based view (RBV) dynamic capability (DC) perspective. We empirically quantify its subdimensions using textual data extracted from SME websites. findings unveil U-shaped relationship: while high is observable at both extremes spectrum, an initial increase in associated with setbacks until specific threshold reached, after which once again begins improve. As result, SMEs should consider strategic allocation pursuing build capabilities during their journey.

Green innovation is a crucial strategy for addressing climate risks, yet such risks' impacts on firms' green remains complex and critical issue. Using sample of A-share listed companies in China, this research finds that risk significantly inhibits by increasing their operating costs, worsening financial situations, lowering capital allocated to R&D. This inhibitory effect more pronounced firms located typhoon-prone, flood-prone, low temperature severe cold areas. Moreover, risks substantially suppress private enterprises, with limited government subsidies, within nonpolluting industries. Further demonstrates environmental, social, governance factors positively moderate the relationship between innovation. These findings deepen our understanding how decision-making, highlight importance corporate social responsibility, provide practical guidance sustainable development adaptation.
