ABSTRACT Nonfatal suicidality is the most robust predictor of suicide death. However, only ∼10% those who survive an attempt go on to die by suicide. Moreover, ∼50% deaths occur in absence prior known attempts, suggesting risks other than nonfatal need be identified. As suicide rates increase globally, there is a growing need for effective, data-driven methods in mental health monitoring. This study leverages advanced artificial intelligence (AI), particularly natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML), to identify suicidal ideation from Twitter data. A predictive model was developed process social media posts real time, using NLP sentiment analysis detect textual emotional cues associated with distress. The aims potential risks accurately, while minimizing false positives, offering practical tool targeted interventions. achieved notable performance, an accuracy of 85%, precision 88%, recall 83% detecting posts. Advanced preprocessing techniques, including tokenization, stemming, feature extraction term frequency–inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) count vectorization, ensured high-quality data transformation. random forest classifier selected its ability handle high-dimensional effectively capture linguistic patterns linked ideation. model’s reliability supported by precision–recall AUC score 0.93, demonstrating real-time monitoring intervention. By identifying behavioral triggers, such as isolation bullying, this framework provides scalable efficient solution support, contributing significantly prevention strategies worldwide.

During the perinatal period, women have an increased risk for psychiatric disorders, which are highly prevalent in this context. In addition, there significant delays diagnosing these conditions, worsening their prognosis and increasing societal burden. Studies describing disorders period often focus on specific disorders; only postpartum depression and, to a lesser extent, anxiety studied. There also very few evaluations conducted by clinicians based semistructured interview, relying diagnostic criteria of international nosography. This multicentric prospective study will recruit 140 adult pregnant randomly selected second trimester (T2) ultrasound consultations. The primary outcome is prevalence any disorder assessed with standardised assessment, Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview (M.I.N.I.). Within 10 days after T2 appointment, we conduct M.I.N.I., collect demographic data, evaluate suicidal behaviour Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale, describe negative life events from past year using Paykel questionnaire evaluation social deprivation (Evaluation Deprivation Inequalities Health Healthcare Centres score). Participants complete self-administered questionnaires that screen pathologies. We build biological sample collection. At two months post partum, repeat questionnaires, adding assessment mother-child bonding. Patients can choose between in-person or telemedicine visits both occasions.
