This study aims to determine the effect of graphene oxide (GO), multilayer carbon tubes (MWCNTs+Fe), magnetite (Fe3O4) and in situ forming brushite (DCPD) nanoparticles (NPs) chitosan (CS) based matrices on cytotoxicity, Pregabalin (PG) release, vivo behaviour mechanically stabilized, conductive nerve conduits (NCs). NPs change composites' hydrophilicity order: DCPD (46.8) ˂ MWCNT (54.21) ~ Fe3O4 (54.44) GO (65.99) water contact angle (47-66 degrees) corresponds conditions cell adhesion. ≤ 150 μg/ml reduce adhesion but don't trigger oxidative stress toxic effects. Magnetite 300 µg/ml promote apoptosis cells. The stage PG introduction into NCs determines its release kinetic: formation provides uniform drug release. most electrically GO- MWCNTs+Fe - containing have a prolonged biodegradation period about 6 months, which makes them promising for regeneration damaged peripheral nerves humans.

Abstract Introduction. Nanostructured materials have been suggested to be used as a source of dietary zinc for livestock animals. In this study, we assessed the cytotoxicity newly synthesized nanostructured carbonate hydroxide (ZnCH) Zn5(CO3)(OH)6 microflakes. Materials and methods. Cytotoxicity microflakes was against murine L929 cell line rat mature erythrocytes. MTT neutral red uptake assays, scratch assay, Annexin V-FITC/7-aminoactinomycin D staining, 2',7'-dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate (H2DCFDA) Fura 2-AM staining reactive nitrogen species (RNS), detection caspases, lipid order-sensitive NR12S probe were employed evaluate viability, motility, death pathways, implication Ca2+, oxygen (ROS) RNS signaling, alterations membranes following exposure microflakes, respectively. To assess hemocompatibility Zn-containing osmotic fragility assay hemolysis performed, well multiple eryptosis parameters evaluated. Results. Our findings indicate dose-response ZnCH cells with no toxicity observed low concentrations (10 mg/L below). At high concentrations, promoted oxidative stress, Ca2+- caspase-dependent apoptosis altered membranes. Surprisingly, enucleated erythrocytes found lower compared cells. induced associated Ca2+ signaling recruitment caspases. Eryptosis assays more sensitive than evaluation hemolysis. Conclusions. show at indicating their potential

Background. Obesity is considered to be a risk factor for Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM), which characterised by hyperglycaemia in pregnant women. Recent studies have demonstrated that glycated erythrocytes are more prone eryptosis, unique regulated cell death observed only mature erythrocytes. The aim of the current study was analyse how eryptosis might contribute GSM maternal obesity. Materials & Methods. Eryptosis parameters were assessed women enrolled study: group 1 consisted 12 obese without signs GDM, 15 obesity but with GDM included 2, 14 3, 4 (control) obstetric and extragenital pathology.
