Pesticides are chemical constituents used to prevent or control pests, including insects, rodents, fungi, weeds, and other unwanted organisms. Despite their advantages in crop production disease management, the use of pesticides poses significant hazards environment public health. Pesticide elements have now perpetually entered our atmosphere subsequently contaminated water, food, soil, leading health threats ranging from acute chronic toxicities. can cause toxicity if a high dose is inhaled, ingested, comes into contact with skin eyes, while prolonged recurrent exposure leads toxicity. produce different types toxicity, for instance, neurotoxicity, mutagenicity, carcinogenicity, teratogenicity, endocrine disruption. The pesticide formulation may depend on specific active ingredient presence synergistic inert compounds that enhance modify its Safety concerns need hour contemporary pesticide-induced hazards. effectiveness implementation current legislature providing ample protection human key concerns. This review explored comprehensive summary regarding updated impacts advanced safety legislation. The diagnosis of depression or anxiety treated by SSRIs has become relatively common in women childbearing age. However, the impact gestational SSRI treatment on newborn thyroid function is lacking. We explored as measured National Newborn Screening (NBS) Program and identified contributory factors. An observational large-scale study mother-infant dyads liveborn infants delivered between 2011 2022. Israeli NBS dataset [total thyroxine (TT4) obtained 36-72 h after delivery] was linked with electronic medical records mothers their born at Lis Maternity Women's Hospital, to generate a unified database. MDClone big data platform utilized extract maternal, perinatal, neonatal characteristics from dyads. Only term without documented disease and/or chronic medication administration, except for SSRIs, were included order minimize potential confounding effects infant's function. Green coffee is essential in many tropical economies. Its cultivation often necessitates using pesticides that can leave behind residues harmful to human health. To ensure consumer safety, the European Community has set strict maximum residue limits (ranging from 0.01 1.0 mg/kg) for green sold within Europe. However, lack of official testing methods neonicotinoids (NEOs) a problem, as laboratories must spend resources and time developing validating suitable analytical methods. This study developed validated method simultaneous analysis seven NEOs frequently used cultivation: acetamiprid, clothianidin, dinotefuran, imidacloprid, nitenpyram, thiacloprid, thiamethoxam. The proposed methodology uses Strata®-X PRO cartridges (solid-phase extraction) remove interfering compounds present food matrix high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), equipped with diode array detector (DAD), determine NEOs. accuracy profile strategy method’s suitability intended application. Because its low ecological impact simple execution, this be routine analyses.
