Cancer patients commonly experience psychological distress that may increase with the current COVID-19 pandemic. This prospective study aimed to measure post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and anxiety in cancer following France’s first COVID-19-related lockdown, together associated factors. receiving outpatient treatment or post-treatment follow-up completed a questionnaire which measured, among other things, PTSD (IES-R), (State-Trait Anxiety Inventory), fear of recurrence (FCR). Cancer patients often suffer from psychological symptoms and need support. Especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, eHealth interventions might be helpful to overcome obstacles of pandemic. This study evaluates effectiveness a video sequence-based intervention on anxiety, fatigue, depression in cancer patients.Patients (N = 157) with different tumor entities were randomly assigned group (IG) waiting control (CG). Patients IG received comprising 8 sequences over 4 weeks. The videos included psychoeducation distress symptoms, Acceptance Commitment Therapy elements, Yoga Qigong exercises. Patients' anxiety fear progression (primary outcomes) secondary outcomes assessed before randomization (T1) after end for or period CG (T2) using self-reported questionnaires (GAD-7, PA-F-KF, EORTC QLQ-FA12, PHQ-8).Patients showed no significant improvement (GAD-7; P .75), (FoP-Q-SF; .29), fatigue (EORTC QLQ-FA12; .72), (PHQ-8; .95) compared CG. However, decreased both groups. Exploratory subgroup analysis regarding sex, therapy status, goal, entity effects. Overall, had high level acceptance.The was ineffective reducing burden findings support prior observations value therapeutic guidance promoting self-management improving patients' burdens. Further studies are required evaluate psycho-oncological delivered through sequences.
