This study was conducted to investigate the drying kinetics and internal external mass transfer characteristics of walnuts for an understanding mechanism. The characteristics, color walnut during hot air (HAD) were investigated under different initial moisture content (IMC) (0.35, 0.39, 0.43 g water/g wet mass) temperatures (50, 60, 70, 80 °C). results indicated that IMC temperature both have significant effects on process walnut, showing higher IMC, longer preheating time, smaller effective diffusivity (Deff) coefficient (hm), but reverse temperature. values Deff hm ranged from 4.94 × 10−10 1.44 10−9 m2/s 1.24 10−7 3.90 m/s, respectively. activation energy diffusion 21.56 23.35 kJ/mol 28.92 33.43 kJ/mol, Multivariate linear prediction models also established estimating as a function HAD parameters. has greater effect kernel lightness than IMC. Verma et al model could be used describe walnut. findings contribute mechanisms in practical value evaluation improvement systems.

Abstract The application of cutting fluid in the field engineering manufacturing has a history hundreds years, and it plays vital role processing efficiency surface quality parts. Among them, water-based accounts for more than 90% consumption fluid. However, long-term recycling could easily cause deterioration, breeding bacteria to fail, increase costs, even endanger health workers. Traditional bactericides improve biological stability fluids, but they are toxic environment do not conform development trend low-carbon manufacturing. Low-carbon is inevitable direction sustainable use nanomaterials, transition metal complexes, physical sterilization methods on bacterial cell membrane genetic material effectively solve this problem. In article, mechanism action additives microbial metabolites was first analyzed. Then, denaturation traditional target protein effect were summarized. Further, nanomaterials disrupting potential discussed. effects lipophilicity atomic number complexes penetration also summarized, ultraviolet rays ozone destruction reviewed. other words, bactericidal performance, hazard, degradability, economics various comprehensively evaluated, improving proposed.

We employed density functional theory to inspect the impact of Ir-decoration on sensing performance a GaN nanotube (GaNNT) in detection mesalamine (MA). The interaction pristine GaNNT with MA was found be weak, and response approximately 4.3. Decorating an Ir atom into surface increased adsorption energy (Ead) from −6.7 −23.8 kcal/mol. significantly 89.4 after decorating atom. A short recovery time 22.0 s for desorption Ir-decorated at 298 K. water solvent reduced Ead −19.8 Thus, we concluded that might highly sensitive sensor time.

One-dimensional nanostructures are generally cited as nanowires, nanofibers, nanotubes, and so on. The foremost prominent feature of these materials is their electrical conductivity, which, unlike classical physics, doesn't increase resistance because the diameter decreases. Numerous properties like optical, magnetic, biological, environmental sensory have created many applications for them altogether industries. nanowires (NWs) propose potential impact on electronics, computing, memory, data storage, communications, manufacturing, health, medicine, national security, other economic sectors well. NWs offer excellent surface-to-volume ratio (interface phenomena), low defect density, high optical output, controllable n-type making more appropriate sensitive sensing applications. with ultra-sensitive real-time detection capabilities lend in nano biosensors, chemical sensors, gas electrochemical sensors. been used improving absorption well collection efficacy photovoltaic devices. having small size, weight, cost mass production, also compatible commercial planar processes large-scale circuitry. Natural materials are gaining popularity in wound healing and food applications, they have the potential to alleviate major environmental problems generated via traditional materials. Biomaterials based on Chitosan incorporated with natural products (Ginger, Curcumin, Cinnamon) been fabricated by solvent casting method. The antimicrobial characterization of prepared samples were also investigated using vitro studies Gram-positive microorganism [Micrococcus luteus, Staphylococcus aureus, epidermidis], Gram-negative [Pseudomonas aeruginosa], pathogenic [Candida albicans]. XRD patterns confirmed complexation between chitosan other this indicate change structural chitosan. shifting disappearing bands FTIR-ATR changing fingerprints FTIR spectra homogeneity interaction other. Optical properties such as absorption, absorption coefficient, Urbach tail band gap calculation that Ginger, Curcumin Cinnamon interact induces localized state valence conduction band. mechanical studied revealed Chitosan/Ginger has best characteristic compared samples. In addition, toward higher wavelength for chitosan/Ginger may be utilized generate electron–hole pairs, which is important activities, from analysis give high activity suggest it dressing application.

Atherosclerosis and cognitive impairment are both influenced by hyperlipidemia. Due to their high margin of safety low cost, natural chemicals have recently attracted particular attention in the context treatment disease. Hence, purpose this study was investigate possible amendatory impact ethanol extract walnut (Juglans regia) seed coat (E-WSC) on some metabolic enzymes (glutathione reductase (GR), paraoxonase-1 (PON1), aldose (AR), sorbitol dehydrogenase (SDH), acetylcholinesterase (AChE), glutathione S-transferase (GST), butyrylcholinesterase (BChE)) activity liver, kidney, heart rats with Triton WR-1339-induced Rats were divided into five groups: control group, HL-Control group (Triton WR-1339 400 mg/kg, i.p administered group), E- WSC + 150 (150 mg/kg,o.d given 300 (E- o.d group) HL+ E-WSC (Group receiving 30 min prior administration i.p). In HL-Control, AR, SDH, BChE enzyme significantly increased all tissues compared control, while other studied decreased. The effects hyperlipidemia balance improved alterations investigated prevented E-WSC. As a result, promising compounds that can be used as adjuvant therapy disorders may found powder.

In this research, silver-doped zinc oxide (SdZnO) nanoparticles (NPs) were synthesized in an environmental-friendly manner. The NPs identified by UV-vis spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Finally, the antimicrobial activity of ZnO SdZnO was performed. It observed that doping silver, size changed. By adding silver to NPs, effect improved. Antibacterial test against gram-positive bacterium Streptococcus mutants showed with a low density had higher antibacterial than NPs; Therefore, can be used as new agent medical applications. RESEARCH HIGHLIGHTS: Silver-doped prepared using eco-friendly synthesis method their bacteria causing tooth decay studied.
