The world needs alternative energy sources due to the aggravating problem of global warming with use fossil fuels. Thermochemical routes utilizing thermal energy, appears be a promising method for splitting H2O/CO2 into green fuels such as H2/CO help redox mediator/oxygen carrier (OC). This review focuses on one most OC, ceria, material its exceptional stability at elevated temperatures and rapid reaction kinetics. influence various parameters, reduction (TR), oxidation temperature (TO), difference (ΔT= TR-TO) during ceria-based thermochemical cycling process was analyzed data in open literature from 2006 onward. discussion encompasses impact these parameters fuel yield, oxygen yield ratio. Introduction novel reactor train system (RTS) combined pumping is found enhance thermal-to-fuel efficiency an impressive 40%, marking significant advancement field.

The NaA zeolite exhibits excellent adsorption performance for 90Sr in radioactive nuclear wastewater. However, the efficient and simple fabrication of into membrane materials remains a critical challenge its industrial application. In this study, was uniformly blended with polyacrylonitrile (PAN) to prepare novel hydrophilicity composite PAN (NaA@PANMs) via electrospinning technology. A comprehensive analytical characterization conducted employing range techniques, including SEM-EDS, BET, XRD FT-IR. results indicate that ensured structural stability membrane. Meanwhile, is incorporated could supply more sites. oxidation NaA@PANMs at 200 ℃ resulted enhanced mechanical strength warm water (75 °C), along acquisition superior physicochemical properties. addition, batch experimental experiments showed had high capacity Sr2+ ions, reaching 59.10 mg/g (removal rate 98.50 %) pH 6, maximum 85.21 298 K. kinetics thermodynamics were respectively consistent pseudo-second-order Langmuir isotherm model. presence coexisting Kd values 3.8, 7.1, 22.0 times higher than those Ca2+, Mg2+, K+, respectively. Additionally, 0.9 g demonstrated dynamic solutions flow 0.25 mL/min. Moreover, can still maintain surface integrity following irradiation 300 kGy. removal exceeding 70.00 % after three desorption cycles furtherly indicates potential application actual
