Fostering Ubuntu in Teacher Education for South African Higher Education

Ubuntu is a foundational philosophy rooted in South African culture that emphasises the importance of interconnectedness, community well-being, and our shared humanity. Its relevance education, particularly teacher training, increasingly recognised as essential to foster inclusive socially responsible learning environments. This study explores integration principles into education programs at institutions higher Africa proposes strategies for embedding thereby enhancing both teaching approach societal impact on future educators. For this study, systematic literature review (SLR) was adopted consolidate existing research study. The follows PRISMA guidelines includes empirical studies published between 2014 2024. search focused prominent academic databases such Scopus, Web Science, ERIC, Google Scholar, concentrating peer-reviewed articles Ubuntu, cultural pedagogy. identified 18 met inclusion criteria, revealing significant themes regarding applying educational settings. Counteracting knowledge hiding among academics to foster creativity: is organisational support the silver bullet or fools’ gold?

The transition to an innovative economy requires greater attention creating favorable conditions for the commercialization of scientists’ developments and possibility realizing accumulated scientific potential. This study aimed examine process in Republic Kazakhstan identify factors influencing development academic entrepreneurship universities. It examines a gradual change legislation on technology transfer dynamics implemented projects during 2016–2022. A phenomenological study of challenges that prospective mathematics teachers face in developing mathematical problems that require higher-order thinking skills

Assessment in mathematics education the 21st century should be more directed at higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). Características de la enseñanza favorable para la creatividad en una muestra de los docentes universitarios

Introducción: considerando la gran relevancia de creatividad para el perfil del profesional siglo xxi, es suma importancia aproximarse al estudio las prácticas enseñanza los docentes universitarios y analizar lugar que ocupa fomento capacidad creativa en estas. Método: este cuantitativo, descriptivo, método no experimental, contó con participación 298 Colombia, Cuba, México Ecuador. Se empleó un cuestionario enseñanza, diseñado ad hoc, orientado a valorar uso estrategias mediación cognitiva emocional-motivacional, flexibilidad metodológica evaluación. El análisis factorial confirmatorio arrojó 4 factores cuya varianza explicada fue 74 % α = ,86, lo indica una adecuada consistencia interna escala. Resultados: resultados indican necesidad mejora aspectos metodológicos relacionados desde muestra, sobre todo empleo emocional-motivacional. La experiencia docente emergió como variable asociada mayor favorabilidad hacia evaluativa niveles maestría doctorado. género femenino se asoció atención emocionales motivacionales creatividad. evidenciaron diferencias entre países, sugiriendo mejoras instituciones educación superior colombianas. ID3-driven insights: the proactive prosumer’s role in technological innovation

Purpose The study aims to reveal the relative importance of each characteristic a proactive prosumer and determine role in improving technological innovation. Design/methodology/approach Our data were collected via emails using final sample 280 technical managers from Egypt’s information technology (IT) firms who have some software development expertise. analyzed iterative dichotomiser 3 (ID3) algorithm.
