Fungal diversity is rapidly expanding, with numerous species being discovered worldwide. While plant debris a habitat favoring the survival and multiplication of various microbial species. In this study, several kirschsteiniothelia-like isolates were collected from dead branches unidentified perennial dicotyledonous plants. Based on morphological examination phylogenetic analyses combined ITS, LSU, SSU sequences data using maximum-likelihood Bayesian inference, three new Kirschsteiniothelia, namely K.ganzhouensis, K.jiangxiensis, K.jiulianshanensis, introduced, one known species, K.inthanonensis, was recorded for first time China. To improve our comprehensive knowledge all accepted Kirschsteiniothelia characteristics, sequence data, asexual morphs, habitat, host, locality are listed.

Macadamia trees, the most economically important Proteaceae perennial crop, are globally renowned for their edible nuts. During our surveys of microfungi associated with macadamia in China and Thailand, we isolated three saprobic fungi from dead branches. Our multigene phylogenetic analyses (ITS, LSU, SSU, tef1-α, TUB2, ACT loci), genealogical concordance species recognition (GCPSR) a pairwise homoplasy index (PHI) test, morphological characteristics led to discovery two new species, Dothiorellamacadamiae Phaeoacremoniumchiangmaiense, one record, Melomastiapuerensis. We provide descriptions, photo plates, analysis results, PHI test results along comparisons closely related taxa. These findings have global implications understanding diversity trees.

During our investigation of saprobic fungi in southwestern China, three micro-hyphomycetous were isolated from dead wood freshwater and terrestrial habitats Guizhou Province. Phylogenetic analyses ITS, LSU, SSU sequences, performed using Maximum Likelihood Bayesian Inference methods, confirmed that these isolates belong to Kirschsteiniothelia . Based on distinct morphological characteristics molecular phylogenetic evidence, we describe new species: guizhouensis , K. weiningensis xishuiensis Furthermore, the effectiveness DNA markers for species-level identification within was evaluated Assemble Species by Automatic Partitioning (ASAP) analysis, which identified ITS nucleotide sequences as most reliable marker species differentiation genus.

Three new species of Gerronema are discovered from southern China. Gerronemaangustum is characterized by its small basidiomata, greenish-green pileus, slender stipe, narrow, and close lamellae. Gerronemapubescence pubescent pileus when young, yellowish white to pale yellow lamellae that lighter towards the margin, narrowly cylindrical lageniform pleurocystidia, absent cheilocystidia. Gerronemarhizomorpha brown well-developed rhizomorphs at stipe base, cheilocystidia not growing on rotten wood. Molecular phylogenetic analyses nrITS + nrLSU support delimitation. In this study, detailed descriptions, photos line drawings, discussions with related comprehensively provided. A key known in China also
