The purpose of this empirical study is to investigate the effects Emotional Intelligence (EI) on learning outcomes (social, cognitive, self-growth and satisfaction with university experience) students in Chinese research universities. This further examines mediating role student trust teachers (emotional cognitive learning) orientation (commitment relationship between EI outcomes. intent was examine direct students' academic efficacy (cognitive skills standardised tests). used a sample frame 454 from universities China. relationships were tested through partial least squares' structural equation modelling method. results reveal that has significant impact Furthermore, an indirect relation established orientation. also established. Because of the exacting nature teaching, identifying factors affecting teachers’ mental health and psychological wellbeing are paramount importance. Parallel with this line inquiry, goal project was to test a model based on teacher self-efficacy emotion regulation in an EFL context. To end, 276 Iranian English teachers participated survey. First, measurement models for three latent constructs were verified through performing Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Then Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) used hypothesized model. SEM outcomes evince that both significant predictors wellbeing, being stronger correlate than regulation. The findings offer implications as Foreign Language (EFL) teachers.

Effective classroom instruction requires monitoring student participation and interaction during class, identifying cues to simulate their attention. The ability of teachers analyze evaluate students’ behavior is becoming a crucial criterion for quality teaching. Artificial intelligence (AI)-based recognition techniques can help attention engagement sessions. With rapid digitalization, the global education system adapting exploring emerging technological innovations, such as AI, Internet Things, big data analytics, improve systems. In educational institutions, modern systems are supplemented with latest technologies make them more interactive, centered, customized. However, it difficult instructors assess interest levels even these technologies. This study harnesses technology introduce an intelligent real-time vision-based monitor emotions, attendance, when they have face masks on. We used machine learning approach train models, including facial expressions, identify attention/non-attention in classroom. attention/no-attention dataset collected based on nine categories. given YOLOv5 pre-trained weights training. For validation, performance various versions model (v5m, v5n, v5l, v5s, v5x) compared different evaluation measures (precision, recall, mAP, F1 score). Our results show that all models promising 76% average accuracy. Applying developed enable visualize emotional states at levels, allowing appropriately manage teaching sessions by considering student-centered scenarios. Overall, proposed will enhance instructors’ students academic level.

Teachers have come under significant scrutiny due to their pivotal role in educational context and lately, the study of emotion-connected aspects teachers' education domain has got much attention experts this proved that emotion is at center teaching subjects. Also as an emotionally challenging occupation, it often results high levels stress consequently burnout which become a prominent concern mainstream recent years. As main issue education, emotions should be taken into account positive regulation been highlighted literature. Therefore, underscores critical significance Chinese English foreign language (EFL) well-being relations burnout. To fulfill research objectives, 398 teachers participated assessment studied concepts. The findings, analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), reveal both variables significantly contribute reduction job teachers. This discusses key implications, limitations while also offering suggestions for future directions.

Grounded on the Knowledge Based View (KBV), this study examines effects of a knowledge management enabler (Emotional Intelligence) processes (KMPs) in research universities. It investigates direct effect KMPs creative performance. This further mediating role Self-directed Learning relationship between and used sample frame 248 academic administrative personnel from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) Pakistan. The relationships were tested through partial least squares structural equation modelling method. results reveal that Emotional Intelligence (EI) as an has positive significant impact KMPs. However, relation self-directed learning performance is insignificant. Also, established associations found to be significant. study’s findings validate experience EI suggest how academics administrators HEIs can value strengthens With increased importance HEIs, there lack studies investigating EI, empirically interface HEI’s enriches existing literature by exploring learning.

Guided by a qualitative approach, an open-ended survey semi-structured interviews were used collect data. thematic analysis data revealed nine that contributed students' classrooms. These included monotonous teaching, difficult content tasks, lack interaction, screen fatigue, mode learning, teacher's personality trait, input overload, technical issues, class timing allotment. As for boredom, participants suggested foreign language classroom can be reduced promoting innovative encouraging motivating students, choosing right environment, increasing teacher-student shortening lecture hours, turning on video cameras. Altogether, this contributes emerging research trend, is, aspects concludes with recommendations future research.
