Introduction: Virtual Reality applications for rehabilitation are increasing in popularity. In traditional as well virtual rehabilitation, the guidance of an occupational therapist through physical and verbal interaction is often required. Several studies have attempted to implement a or assistant immersive environments rehabilitation. Objective: This research aims systematically review these studies, understanding therapist’s role how they represented environment, patient interact experience users. Our goal provide implementations into fully reality environments. Method: The researchers reviewed literature on therapists motor (protocol prospectively registered with PROSPERO ID: CRD42022357369). Results Conclusion: Seven were identified, findings showing that human-like avatars guide patients, requiring them mimic movements. Even before the onset of COVID-19 pandemic, children and adolescents were experiencing a mental health crisis, partly due to lack quality services. The rate suicide for Black youth has increased by 80%. By 2025, care system will be short 225,000 therapists, further exacerbating current crisis. Therefore, it is utmost importance providers, schools, health, pediatric medical providers integrate innovation in digital identify problems proactively rapidly effective collaboration with other providers. Such approaches can help robust, reproducible, generalizable predictors biomarkers treatment response psychiatry. Among multitude innovations biomarker psychiatric diseases currently, as part macrolevel transformation, speech stands out an attractive candidate features such affordability, noninvasive, nonintrusive. The protocol aims develop speech-emotion recognition algorithms leveraging artificial intelligence/machine learning, which establish link between trauma, stress, voice types, including disrupting speech-based characteristics, detect clinically relevant emotional distress functional impairments adolescents.Informed theoretical foundations (the Theory Psychological Trauma Biomarkers Archetypal Voice Categories), we developed our methodology focus on 5 emotions: anger, happiness, fear, neutral, sadness. Participants recruited from 2 local centers that serve urban youths. Speech samples, along responses Symptom Functioning Severity Scale, Patient Health Questionnaire 9, Adverse Childhood Experiences scales, collected using Android mobile app. Our model development pipeline informed Gaussian mixture (GMM), recurrent neural network, long short-term memory. We tested public data set. GMM 128 clusters showed evenly distributed accuracy across all emotions. Using utterance-level features, achieved 79.15% overall, while frame selection 85.35%. This demonstrates robust emotion classification emotions enhances accuracy, significant scientific evaluation. Published: July 31, 2024

Abstract Background Tracking session‐by‐session patient‐reported outcomes (e.g. alliance and clinical symptoms) has been shown to improve treatment outcomes. However, self‐report measures are cumbersome collect, completion rates inconsistent. Proof‐of‐concept machine learning research applications using psychotherapy data sets suggest that it may be possible generate fully automated predictions of symptom ratings based on behavioural markers extracted from video recordings sessions. For these artificial intelligence (AI)‐based measurements feasible, patients clinicians must comfortable with recording their sessions open deploying such AI‐based models in practice. Methods We conducted two online survey studies between December 2022 March 2023. asked 954 248 about the use usefulness (1) for routine outcome monitoring, (2) therapy (3) utilising prediction treatments. Results Patients found useful but burdensome. While both reported interest willingness embrace technology measurement‐based care, significantly more record sessions, positive views measurement feedback outcomes, compared clinicians. Conclusion Clinicians should provided practice training tools aid work before successfully implemented into

Abstract Psychotherapy delivered via telehealth technology is not an artifact of the COVID‐19 pandemic. Indeed, widespread, telehealth‐delivered, evidence‐based psychotherapy preceded pandemic, as did randomized controlled noninferiority trials supporting this modality. It is, thus, difficult to predict that will be integral part daily clinical life moving forward. With respect posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) specifically, there a substantial number studies on feasibility, acceptability, and effectiveness treatments provided videoconferencing. In review, we delineate literature establishing strong support for remote delivery prolonged exposure (PE) cognitive processing therapy (CPT); also promising written (WET) trauma‐focused behavioral (TF‐CBT). We mention adjunctive integrative modifications better serve patients with PTSD. One such intervention, activation therapeutic (BATE), has several delivery, whereas concurrent treatment PTSD substance use disorders using PE protocol (COPE) insomnia (CBT‐I) would benefit from further research. Integrating instrumental peer into telehealth‐delivered shows promise in retaining treatment. Finally, provide ideas maximize effectiveness, explore future research directions, discuss ways advocate expansion services equity perspective.
