The aim of this study was to elucidate the contaminant sources and processes controlling groundwater quality risk assessment heavy metals posed on humans by statistical indices. sampling performed at Bodhjungnagar Industrial Estate, A.D. Nagar, Dukli Badharghat Cluster, Tripura, India during pre-monsoon post-monsoon in year 2017. A total 21 water parameters (Temp, pH, TDS, Ca, Mg, TH, Na, K, HCO3, Cl, SO4, PO4, NO3, F, Fe, Mn, Pb, Cd, As, Cu, Zn, Cr) were determined from collected samples. graphical methods employed assess suitability water. index (WQI) suggested that majority samples are suitable for drinking purpose. WATEQ4F model applied compute saturation (SI) different minerals present Based Piper plot dominant type is Ca-Cl area. Nemerow integrated pollution (NIPI) indicates groundwaters both industrial sites have moderately highly deteriorated with metals. hazard (HI) revealed amongst population, chronic health greater children considering seasons, higher premonsoon season.

Potentially toxic elements (PTEs) are well-known for exposing living organisms and humans to different levels of risk. The present study aimed evaluate the extent exposure health risks sustained by inhabitants suburbs across Southeastern Nigeria as a result contaminated water sources. There existing literatures on human risk assessment in region. However, this is first report detailed breakdown faced nine age groups area. This was achieved integrating novel code (HERisk), statistical clustering, quality data. Laboratory analysis showed that PTEs (Fe2+, Ni2+, Cr3+, Pb2+) 53.6%, 17.8%, 3.5%, 46% samples were found be above recommended limits. Aggregated scores ingestion dermal routes revealed children aged 1 2 years most vulnerable hazards. According cumulative carcinogenic values (0.00E+00 2.41E-04), proximal regions with significant activities expose locals high developing cancer via ingestion. Q-mode hierarchical cluster successfully validated classification schemes used interpretation HERisk values, captured patterns dataset, brought forth new perspectives. comprehensive approach can adopted framework ongoing monitoring quality.
